Green Lanthern's New Look

LOL I kinda think it's funny myself. A long time I ago I had the exact same idea. I thought he looked too bland. A year ago, this month actually, I drew a gotee onto a screen shot I took of GL from JL Season One. My fellow WFers, Jim & BB thought I was just weird... Who is weird now? Go Figure. :D

Woah. I completely forgot about that. That's hilarious...

That's actually not that far off, aside from the hair. Though it reminds me of the adult Static from the "Future Shock" episode...

It gives him a bit more of an edge, makes him look older, and means Samuel L. Jackson now has two superhero movie commitments should they ever be developed (Nick Fury in THE ULTIMATES being the other one, kids) ...
PUH-LEEZ! :o

Jackson made a laughable Jedi at best. He'd totally ruin the role as a GL.

I believe that Michael Jai White, from "Spawn" fame, would be perfect for the role. He looks almost identical to the animated GL and his voice is almost there as well. Head on over to imdb.com and do a lookup on "Spawn" and check out a mug shot of MJW from the movie. I think you'll be convinced! ;)

Lol, I forgot about it too. I was shocked it was still in WF's temp directory.

To stay on subject, I like the change. Makes him look cooler. Simply put, clean shaven doesn't match Jon's personatlity....

He should of grown side burns and gotton a full fade with the beard. It'd look way more realistic to how a lot of black guys like myself get their hair done.

The bald head is cool, but usually only balding guys do that. He should atleast have a fade. Hmm.. I wonder how much the JL pays to keep John lined up. haha

I agree. I have always thought that Michael Jai White would make the perfect Live action John Stewart.

I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).
