Chobe brings new abilities to bear as he faces the Tensen's servants. A secret of Mei's is revealed to Gabimaru, hardening his resolve to fight and opening him up to a new perception of the world.

Episode 12 Umbrella and Ink 6/24/2023

Sagiri and the others set foot in Lord Tensen's territory Horai in their search for Gabimaru. What was waiting for them there is the Tensen Mu Dan.

Episode 13 Dreams and Reality 7/1/2023

Sagiri's party faces Mu Dan's seemingly unstoppable true form. Shion does his best to rise to the challenge with his mastery of waves.

A jidai geki with ninjutsu, samurai, and supernatural elements? Sold.

What a waste if there really is no fruit and/or no regular human can take it.

I don't think these Tensen are real immortals or gods. Feels like they were an experiment, like Homunculus. I think Senta mentioned someone in one of the episodes when he was studying the blends of religions on the island - I forget - but I think he's probably the creator. Like Dr. Moreau.

Hell's Paradise was a wild ride with an interesting setting in "paradise." Arguably a more intriguing show than Demon Slayer when it comes to period swords vs monsters stories. This show was arguably the most violent and grotesque of the recent shonen. Overall, really good first season and a must watch for battle shonen fans.

The inhumans, or whatever you want to call them, are just trouble.
