What's even worse are these recent anti-drug ads, with the slogan "Above the Influence" one of them features a girl who is now lazy (depicted with the girl flat, like a Fruit Roll Up!!) thanks to drugs. I think it's time to show the real effects of drugs, not just metaphorical depictions of these effects.

I agree.
It's been some time since I last saw an anti-drug PSA that went beyond the lines of "Drugs are bad, m'kay?"

Also Taco Bell's Crunch Wrap Supreme. There are at least three things I find incredibly irratating about that ad:

1. This "Crunch Wrap Supreme" is, in theory, supposed to be portable. It is, in reality a HUGE nacho cheese-smeared hexagonal Mexican monstrosity. It would seriously break all laws of modern physics if it didn't fall apart in your hand after 5 seconds.

2. The "Good to go" guy is an incredibly smug, annoying hipster jerk who makes Jared from Subway look positively charming. Every word that he says just screams, "I'm vastly superior to you". If anyone says to me "I like classics made modern" the way he does, that person would be kicked in theface.

3. What the hell is this "Good to go" stuff (Complete with hand gesturing)? If anyone tries to introduce that in a conversation with me, said person will also get kicked in the face.

I have the radio on in my office. And all day I hear this commercial for "Sunsetter" retractable awnings. In the first commercial they had a guy explaining the awning like he was a customer...but, the annoying part was his wife moaning everytime he spoke. She would be like "Tell them about the discount Harry!"...over and over. They finally changed it. Well, kinda of. Its the same commercial but instead of the wife *****in to him...its another guy. And its just as annoying.

I don't get it.
I was trying to imply that I do in fact yell when I eat a pizza roll, in which case you would've hurt my feelings. But I don't.

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
