Here's something according to Equestria Daily regarding Season 4. On one hand I'm wary as all heck about this, but on the other?

Im glad season 4 is back to 26 eps. IMO the only problem season 3 had was its episode count restriction, the writers tried to hard to pack so much into such a short season it made the pacing of most episodes wonky! Given when they were writing them they may have thought it was their last season so its understandable, but yeah now with 26 eps again the writers have more wiggle room, so hopefully season 4 won't have to many eps that feel rushed.

Also hopefully with this much space again we will get even more wonderful character development & world building! *knock on wood!*

Pretty much agree with the problems with Season 3.

With only 13 episodes this season and a number of stories that the writers wanted to tell in these episodes (due to the possibility that it may be their last season), this season definitely felt like a mess (it also didn't help that a number of writers/members of creative have either left the show or were working on other Hub shows along with MLP).

And just before I saw what you posted, Amy Keating Rogers is back as a writer for the show.

With season 4 having 26 episodes, this would bring the show's total to 91 episodes. That's pretty amazing.

So does anyone think that the show can reach the big 100, should it get season 5?

DO I think it'll reach 100, personally, YES. Mainly because Hasbro could make a big event out of it on the HUB, and its still popular enough to justify doing so, all we have to do is hope and pray season 4 turns out well! *Knock on wood*

Also glad AKR is coming back to the show, I enjoyed her season 1 eps.

Awesome news x2! Love to have season 4 confirmed, and with a full season at that. Awesome! And, Amy Keating Rogers coming back? With "Last Roundup" and "A Friend in Deed" being among my favorites, I'm happy about that too! (Loved her work on PPG and Foster's too!)

Hey, you know what Rarity says, when you got it, flaunt it! And Twilights Got it! XD. Although I do wonder how long it will take her to get used to having....extra appendages. XD

But yeah spoiler clips for this weekends episode, aren't very spoilery.... All we know now is that Cadence has a pretty nice Spa, and a "Mud Bath" that I personally say is really green jello, seriously that is totally green jello! She has a Green Jello bath in her Spa! LUCKY!!!

Hard to let that get me down with this kind of news. I'll keep hoping it's not as bad as I think it will be.

Clips seem alright, from the look of things though it may be our Rarity episode of the season.

Also seems most of the episode will focus on Rarity trying to do Cadence hair er mane... not what I was expecting, but hey Rarity is *possibly* finally getting her episode, sorta, YAY!?

My take on Season 4 having 26 eps.;

Here's hoping Season 4 can kick more butt than Season 3, that's for sure. Hopefully, with one good returning writer (AKR), it most certainly will...

As for all this Alicorn Twilight hype, I'm just hoping the more intelligent and sensible fans stick around and continut to support this show. The writers are actually trying their best to make the best of a rough situation. They need support, not abandonent for what's beginning to feel like trivial reasons, IMHO...
Besides, I'd only ditch this show if the writing didn't improve in the next season - now that would be a good reason to stop watching, not because a character is going through what's basically considered an upgrade in a henshin/sentai - type setup for a show...

MLP TV Movie confirmed, NEW Spin-Off IP in the works aimed at an older female audiance, NEW IP Won't effect MLP:FIM *which we know already has been confrimed for a 4th season*

Also my own personal speculation, this is what the Equestria Girls thing is about, Spin-off show about the cast as human teenagers *and you know if Anime Stlye it could work! XD*

The movie is awesome news.
Can we expect something truly special, like something that really delves into something we want to know like the origins of Celestia and Luna or will it really just be a longer version of what we get out of the 2 parters?
Let the speculation of what the possible movie could be!


And i'm curious about the new IP... Namely, considering how MLP already has teenage fangirls, how exactly do you make a spinoff IP that would cater to them MORE? Eh... almost sounds like marketing talking; like what the marketing department's interpretation of what they THINK will appeal more to teenage girls; kinda like how one would say that ponies appeal to little girls, which as MLP so proved, these stereotypes of what "[insert demographic] likes" are not at all set in stone... through its writing, MLP managed to appeal to all sorts of people beyond its original target.

Though a spinoff IP is very interesting and worth a shot, i wouldn't be so quick to get excited... Afterall it's been the shows writing and animation that made it so great; unless they have writers and directors with both similar talent and love for their show, there's a chance that it might just feel more like a pale imitation than a true spin off. I mean it could be great like Animaniacs -->Pinky and the Brain, or it could be a dud like Jimmy Neutron --> Planet Sheen; It could be great or it could be forgettable. Though thinking about it, i think spin-offs do tend to have a decent success rate, since i actually have trouble thinking about spin-offs that i thought were a lot worse than the original.

When I heard the world spinoff, I thought Cutire Mark Crusaders show, but than I heard it was for an older audiance, so the opposite of that. Granny Smith getting her own show maybe. Ha ha.
