NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I recognize Bumblebee and Prime but I don't know who the others are.

Edit- Oh wait they are Bulkhead, Ratchet and Prowl.

That picture looks slightly better than the first one. At least the borders are thinner and the color scheme is less vomit inducing.

Can we get Gonzo back now please?

Doesn't look any worse than the original series or RiD.

I say bring it on.

where the bullocks do you get your information?

Prowl looks cool... I'll give them that.

Ratchet's okay...

I like that they kept (apparantly) Firetruck Prime. I mean a semi is just not as heroic as a firetruck ya know?

But other than that...ugh... I'll have to see it to believe in that show.

he probably get them from Transformers fan sites.

Car Robots was a parody made for really young children. Therefore, to expect a Beast Wars level script is being way too opitimistic.

This is just bad...

It was light hearted. Not a parody.

Well, if the original pic didn't look like a Timm-inspired work, this all but confirms it, though it feels more like Leigon of Super Heroes than anything.

Also, what the hell is it with these kinds of designs where the big, bulky guy has a gigantic upper body but a tiny, tiny lower body?

For some reason, this feels like it's based off of that Transformers Preschool toy line...

Not really. GoBots was much more symplistic, even compared to this.

Better than the first image for certain but the angles really aren't working for me.

I think I will wait until there is a show on the air before passing judgment. There were certainly a lot of people complaining about Beast Wars before it aired. Now many consider that to be the best series of them all.

Ugh. It looks like it was designed by The Batman's animation team.

How does that even remotely resemble Matsuda's drawing style? It looks more like something by Tartakovsky only...not good.

Whoa! Give me a bowl now! That looks so horrendous I wanna throw up! This series is, right now anyway, giving the ENTIRE franchise a really bad name! I fear what the dialogue will sound like! And please, please tell me that SCIFI WIRE thing is not true, 'cause if it is, Transformers Animated is NOT a Transformers series in my view. Humans are NOT supposed to be a MAJOR thing here. I mean Humans in a minor role is one thing (ala past), but Humans being a more MAJOR antagonist than the Decepticons? What has the world come to? How dare you CN! This gives me the urge to bring back Gonzo to this. Hasbro needs to be blamed for this too because they did not want Gonzo to do another series. This needs to show that you cannot trust Americans to do adaptations like we did back in the '70s and '80s.

My issue is size. The sort of shapes here work well for character human characters, but OP doesn't carry any feeling of metal/bulk/weight of a giant robot. Maybe that's just me. They aren't terrible, but I see those design shapes and I don't think "massive robot", I think of.. okay, well, LOSH.

I wouldn't slam the designs or cartoon until I've seen far more, but from the outset, this seems to be a little too copycat of current cartoon trends, rather than finding an animated look which suits the cartoon itself.

It looks like a drawing done by a little kid, but myabe the show will be good.
I think we should give it a chance before jumping to conclusions!

Happy 15th anniversary to Secret Mountain Fort Awesome!

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
