Nickelodeon Schedule Discussion, Part 2

That's the Nick I know, who would replace anything with anything no matter how dumb the scheduling of it is (Channel Chasers is airing again? Really?)

With a potentially historic snowstorm heading over to the northeast by Tuesday, Nick should take advantage and update its schedule for the rest of the week. We seriously can't have the preschool block running until 2pm when millions of kids will be home.

-Last Sat Fairly OddParents has ran 5 hours of schedule. 7PM on Sunday has Fairly OddParents and 7:30PM has Sanjay and Craig so that's odd.
-Looks like return for Victorious is temporary, it started last week Mon Jan 19, and will stay there until this Fri 6:30PM, and next week (first week of Feb), Victorious is no longer on schedule
-Sunday 7AM is still older nicktoons PoM, TUFF Puppy, Fanboy (show's already done and why still airing reruns?). how long can Nick broadcast older nicktoons and when they keep holding out new episodes in a while? The ratings were a decline that started in September. Same thing that happened to All Grown Up when rerunning to death weekend mornings until early 2013.
-Sat morning premieres are no longer doing it anymore...but it may still have Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners (though it may look like it will get changed)
-Sun evenings starting Feb 1 7PM has Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners (though it's odd)
-first week Feb weekdays, 6PM hour gets live action block. 7PM Every Witch Way returns, 7:30PM Sam and Cat is back again
-Thurs Feb 5 7:30PM is one hour Every Witch Way, thus overlapping Nick at Nite
-TMNT will get Fridays 8PM hour, and Sun 11AM

Due to blizzard today, Nick makes last minute changes for today only (Tues)
2PM-3:30PM SpongeBob
3:30PM-5PM iCarly
5PM Henry Danger
5:30PM NRDD
6PM Bella
6:30PM Thundermans
7PM Every Witch Way (NEW)
7:30PM Sam and Cat

Only notable changes are iCarly gets more air times, and Victorious is notably gone. Not known how have iCarly gotten better?

Oh, here's interesting surprise! I'm not sure how I feel..surprised or happy, but Nick is going to air Rags on Sun Feb 1 6PM. It's been long time since they last aired that movie in summer 2012.

Here are MORE schedule changes:

Saturday's new Thundermans has been pulled, Planet 51 will air Sat. 1p, and Kung Fu Panda repeat Sun. 8:30a

I wonder why would Nick premiere Planet 51, given they only have few days to promote. And why 1PM a good slot?

Breadwinners and Rabbids for this Sat is gone, replaced by Fairly OddParents.

If Kung Fu Panda gets repeats on Sundays 8:30AM, I should hope they should finish burning new episodes sometime soon...

This is very strange, movie premieres need promotion. Is this the first time it happens or did it happen before?

I think this is the first time it happened.

I'm assuming the ratings for SJC, BW and RI have been THAT bad (and that bad for last year that this might be permanent).

Ratings aren't that bad since last year as it did decent for total viewers and K2-11. The only reason people thought it was bad is because there hasn't been new episode since last November last premiered.. Now, Sat morning premieres aren't scheduled anymore..

Started last Wed. Victorious moved to 5:30PM, which means 6PM hour is Thundermans, giving a better lead-in.

This Monday (2/2), weekdays Henry Danger and NRDD schedule are no longer there. iCarly 5PM, Victorious 5:30PM, 6PM Sam and Cat, 6:30PM Thundermans, and surprise! 7PM hour Every Witch Way encores are back. And Thurs there's no more overlapping schedule Nick at Nite so that's good.

According to Zap2It Victorious has been taken out of the 5:30pm slot starting Monday to be replaced by another iCarly which has takes up the whole 5pm hour. Guess that explains the last minute schedule change today to iCarly "iPsycho" @ 5pm.

How come iCarly does good in reruns but not Victorious?

Ugh, too many last minute schedule changes lately. I know it's because of ratings, but most kids will get confused at what time their shows are airing.

And from the looks of it, FOP is getting spammed even more than SBSP lately. I really wish FOP finishes its run fast so that it can make room for more Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Rabbids Invasion and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because this is starting to annoy me (I don't watch FOP, but I've heard a lot of negative reception towards season 9 recently).

Don't like last minute changes but Nick is always like that. It's sad kids don't want to watch Victorious anymore because new viewers arent familiar with this and former fans dont have intetest due to fact that there wasnt any proper final closure.

Every Witch Way back to back episodes season 3 7pm starting this week, and will finish those in fri feb 13.

Nick will have Valentine themed episodes almost all day Feb 14 except Power Rangers new episode.

Starting Tues Feb 17 5PM & 5:30PM has iCarly and Sam and Cat respectively, 6PM is movie. Not sure if this is just one week thing, but it would be shocking if HD/NRDD/TTM won't get reruns on weekdays for permanent scheduling.

Tues Feb 17 - Splitting Adam
Wed Feb 18 - Aliens in the Attic (2009) (not sure how well this movie will do)
Thurs Feb 19 - SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004)
Fri Feb 20 - E.T. Extra Terrestrial (1982) - first time on the air since 2 years and 5 months!

It seems that Nickelodeon has been doing these last minute changes recently.

It seems that Nickelodeon has been doing these last minute changes recently.

Last minute changes again:

tomorrow (Friday):
7AM is SpongeBob Legend of Bikini Bottom event
8:30am-12pm Paw Patrol marathon (no surprise considering it's highest preschool rated)
1pm Wallykazam one hour special (not a last minute change but it seems weird that same new one hour special airing at 12pm too)
8pm SpongeBob Atlantis SquarePantis (seriously?), it's replacing two encores of Bella; trying to counterprogram disney premieres

Sat.
10am SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (not technically last minute, but replacing sjc and breadwinners, rabbids)
2pm SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (again?)
{Seems that Bella, NRDD, HD airing on weekend is reducing to one each and more SpongeBobs airing?}

Also why Nick Sundays 7am still running old Pom, fanboy, tuff even when nicktoons is in effort burning new episodes? I have been mentioning this for years and nick never listens. Nick is in ratings downfall, they should have include rabbids, haunted hathaways, see dad run, or instant mom sundays 7am. These have never been aired on schedule at all. Penguins of Madagascar, Robot and Monster, Fanboy, Tuff Puppy, Jimmy Neutron which been played to deth every sunday mornings that nobody is watching. Same case happened with All Grown Up from 2007 until 2013.

Also Disney is counter programming, Disney XD movie, Pants on Fire Sat 8pm-9:40pm. I think this is disney channel airing first time.

From what i noticed on nick.com schedule, the design for the schedule are outdated! On nickelodeon tab, kung fu panda has title listed with episode but there's no picture icon nor says legend of awesomeness but On nicktoons tab, it has kung fu panda legend of awesomeness with picture icon along with episode title. It seems that there is someone else is working on nickelodeon site, nick tab. Schedule really needs update on design, just like nick.com did.

They stopped airing JN on Nick in early 2013.

KFP and SJC do happen to air on early Sunday mornings alongside these shows.

Also, I'm not sure R&M is still airing, it hasn't aired on Nick since June 2014. (Though if it still is airing reruns, I'm pretty sure it'll leave Nick sometime this year)

Recently around week ago, they aired Jimmy Timmy Power Hour (Fairly OddParents movie crossover with Jimmy Neutron), though it's technically Jimmy Neutron one hour. And oh yeah Robot and Monster last time aired in mid 2014. You're right. They already stopped showing on Nick. Same thing with Monsters vs Aliens.
But Tuff Puppy, PoM and Fanboy still running and have been overplayed to death. Fanboy is already done, but Tuff Puppy and PoM still have few episodes to air to finish for good.

Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners aren't airing last night as it was replaced by SpongeBob due to last minute change. Who knows whether Nick could make last minute changes and pull Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Rabbids off Sat morning weekends, and possibly Sunday evenings? TMNT encores used to air Fri 8PM hour, but for some strange reason only SpongeBob was airing instead (started last Friday due to last minute change again). TMNT only had one encore airing on Sunday 11AM.

My important question is why Nickelodeon acquired foreign tv animation, Oggy and the Cockroaches? Why can't they just finish airing new episodes Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig and Rabbids, and TMNT? Sure it's already in decline, but that's no reason to pull animated premieres

Today is my Birthday!
Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
