Nickelodeon Schedule Discussion, Part 2

My important question is why Nickelodeon acquired foreign tv animation, Oggy and the Cockroaches? Why can't they just finish airing new episodes Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig and Rabbids, and TMNT? Sure it's already in decline, but that's no reason to pull animated premieres
I think that it has to do with the move in Asia from Cartoon Network to Nickelodeon.

In any case, kanc, "be careful what you wish for", as they say. A show like Oggy and the Cockroaches is at least different. Indeed, it's at least better than more reruns of you-know-what (I don't think I have to say what)...

I'm not saying that Oggy and the Cockroaches is a bad acquisition. It's nice and surprising acquisition to air on weekdays for premieres and some encores. But I was saying to stop holding out Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Rabbids premieres for Sat mornings. I don't usually check those nicktoons schedule, but Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, TMNT shows much on Nicktoons than Nickelodeon.
Rabbids isn't even on Nicktoons for reruns which doesn't surprise me.

Normally for Nickelodeon: TMNT shows Fri 8PM hour, 11AM half hour possibly on Sundays, Sat 10:30AM Sanjay and Craig, 11AM Breadwinners, 11:30AM Rabbids; Sunday evening 7PM Sanjay and Craig, 7:30PM Breadwinners.

This could make last minute changes for Nick, like pulling those shows and replace with SpongeBob. 2-3 years ago same thing happened with PoM, RaM, Tuff Puppy.

Also returning new episodes is continuation Bella and the Bulldogs (I saw Bella gets 20 episodes in season 1 instead of 12), Henry Danger (season 2 gets 26 episodes!) (last 3 episodes to complete season 1), NRDD has 4 episodes to complete season 1, but episode list guide says unaired, or could this be a typo?

Still nothing on Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, Rabbids, Instant Mom, See Dad Run?

If you can't understand it, OatC seems to be a different acquisition for Nickelodeon, technically better than reruns of a certain show.

No what I didn't get was the "you know what" that he said he probably didn't need to mentio which I JUST realize it's Spongebob.

Bad news, not sure this is a good sign... Nick and More tweeted that Nickelodeon has scheduled 4 new episodes each of The Thundermans and Haunted Hathaways from February 23rd -26th to air from 7-8pm. I seriously hope it's not a burn off, cause if it is then this truly sucks.

Less concerned about Thundermans burn-off, as that show still airs a lot. Hathaways OTOH doesn't. Can smell burning on that, this might be it for the Haunted Hathaways unfortunately.

This is not good at all... I "think" THH has 8 episodes left and TTM has 9 episodes. Not sure if there are any 1-hour specials in there, but essentially... Nick could be done with both in two weeks. Wish they could get SDR done with as well.

Sad to see both go, neither were horrible, and much better than the likes of Fred.

EWW hasn't gotten renewed yet either. And AwesomenessTV is down to 1 episode after the 28th.

Looks like Nick is clearing out it's lineup.

THH has 8 episodes left, but TTM actually has 14 episodes left and a one hour special too. And I too wish they finish SDR already, it has 7 episodes left.

Same thing with Instant Mom, they ordered a 20 episode third season after the first episode of Season 2. But there hasn't been a new episode since early December, what's the hold up for?

I'm kind of annoyed those two got a Season 3, but TTM or THH didn't. I still think TTM deserved a third season but whatever.

Maybe Nick regretted renewing too soon for Instant Mom. I don't like how Nick deals with live action burnoff, especially THH/TTM. I think this is the first time since Fred the Show has done that back in 2012 (not counting for animations, EWW, HoA). Before Nick placed those THH/TTM in schedule it had "to be announced" I thought those two shows should've waited until spring, but they want to get it over with for good.

Also, Nick has revised the schedule revised for this Tues. week 2/17 only
Tues: 5PM Splitting Adam; iGoodbye
Wed: 7PM KillerTunaJump
Thurs 7PM: Sophia Grace and Rosie's Royal Adventure
Fri 7PM Splitting Adam

Sun Feb 23
12-8PM will have planet alien themed stunt; 5:30PM is the movie E.T. (first time watched since Sept 2012)

Nick updates the schedule:
-Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners will be in 11AM hour every Sat.
Kung Fu Panda repeats 8:30AM are pulled and replaced with SpongeBob
-starting Monday weekdays especially morning, is SpongeBob and notably, Fairly OddParents repeats been pulled in weekday schedule, it can still be shown in weekends though
-this Sat. (tomorrow) Splitting Adams encore be pushed to 6PM instead of 8PM, 8PM will have Sat. primetime repeats of HD, NRDD, Bella, and Thundermans

Post KCA slot guesses?

100 Things: Has the potential (and likely will be) Nick's best live-action program in years. The pilot was outstanding, and the show is just perfect.
*Why it deserves the post KCA slot: Nick still hasn't found a flagship live-action program, and this could be it.

Bad Seeds: Cute animation show, and kids will fall in love with Harvey Beaks. I feel like Nick is skewing a little too young with the promos for this show.
Why it deserves the post KCA slot: This show could revive Nick's animation block. Since Spongebob won't be back until the summer, and SJC/BW have been off the air for far too long now (kids probably think they are canceled) Nick is going to need a show to breathe some life back into animation. Plus with C.H. Greenblatt behind this, it will cause a lot of buzz in the animation world.

If Nick chooses anything else other than these two, I will be flabbergasted.

Both two shows have potential to be breakout hits. Both shows could bring some life to their respective genres, for the network.

Minor change: during aliens is coming event tomorrow, rabbids is pulled and replace it with spongebob planet jellyfish, this episode is showing twice on schedule. Now rabbids will never be shown on any tv.

For the KCAs, I think it'll likely look like this...

6:00pm - Spongebob Squarepants - Yetti Krabbs
6:15pm - Harvey Beaks
6:30pm - Bell and the Bulldogs
7:00pm - Kid's Choice Awards
7:30pm - 100 Things OR School or Rock (Most likely 100 Things, since SoR premiere is likely a 1-hour special)

I have a feeling Rabbids won't be aired on U.S. TV ever again.

Well KCA would start at 8PM, and it would be 90 min length. 9:30PM is 100 Things to Do or Harvey Beaks. Pre-KCA would be Yeti Krabs

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
