Nickelodeon Schedule Discussion, Part 2

Of course Nick still cares about NRDD seeing that they still show their promos, compared to FOP seemingly disappearing and TMNT barely keeping its spot.

Yeah, but actually I'm referring that NRDD encores on weekdays and last Sunday were no longer showing anymore. NRDD episodes has more than 20 episodes and barely showing on schedule except Saturdays. Henry Danger only has 20 episodes and still showing much on schedule weekdays and weekends. 100 Things to Do has very less episodes and showing on Saturdays is understandable. These promos Nick showing of NRDD/100 Things/TTM were only summer repeats on Sat primetime. Nothing new.
I sure wish they should release fall schedule for this next month.

Problem is, Harvey premieres did once get a Spongebob lead-in and it didn't do as well as we all hoped. Granted, they were still better than the numbers that would follow, but the Sunday premieres managed to get more than that at one point.

Well Harvey was only led-in by a *new* Spongebob premiere only once, and like you said, after that the show dropped. I think the problem essentially was Nick launched a new animation block, and it didn't get the "hype" or the "push" that it needed to succeed.

I applaud Nick for taking the risk and moving the shows to Sunday night, but it just failed. Saturday mornings have a way better track record.

I still think Harvey would do WAY better if given a bigger push this fall, and honestly, placing new Harvey premieres anywhere other than Saturday mornings after Spongebob is just asking for a huge disaster. Sandwiching it between Spongebob and Sanjay is the way to go IMO.

8:00AM ALVINN!!! and the Chipmunks (replacing SpongeBob)
8:30AM ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks (replacing SpongeBob)
11:00AM SpongeBob (replacing Fairly OddParents)
11:30AM SpongeBob (replacing Fairly OddParents)
more SPONGEBOB in afternoons (AUGGH), and live actions start at 4:30PM

Sun Aug 23:

7:30AM SpongeBob (replacing Fairly OddParents)
8:30AM ALVINNN!!! (replacing SpongeBob)
9:00AM ALVINNN!!! (replacing SpongeBob)
11:30AM SpongeBob (replacing Pig Goat Banana Cricket)
12:00PM ALVINNN (replacing Fairly OddParents)
12:30PM ALVINNN (replacing Fairly OddParents)

Fairly OddParents is not even showing reruns ANYMORE on weekends and weekdays on Nickelodeon main network.

Also HEADS UP! This is important, on week of Mon Aug 24, unfortunately new episodes of ALVINNN and the Chipmunks were pulled, and replaced it with repeat.

This is bogus what is going on why has Nick removed its animated cartoons from its channel and why are the live action still getting more in the network, and I wonder if nick is giving A&TC more airings to bring down ratings because pulling the new episodes is not a clever decision overall.

Is Nick now turning to the Spongebob and Alvin Network? They will run Alvin to the ground, and the ratings will flail, just like what happened to Spongebob during these last few years.

Meh, Nick is just trying to close out August with some dignity and they've found life in AatC.

I'm more interested to see what Nick's weekday/weekend schedule is in September and what the premieres days/blocks are and what shows encompass them.

With AatC and new SBSP, I expect some help for the other Nick shows at least in terms of bringing people to the network. We'll see..

I just hope Harvey Beaks can get a weekday run next month (and I mean on the main network, not Nicktoons). It really deserves it IMO.

According to NickandMore starting on August 31, Nick is going to gain an hour however he did not say what shows are taking that slot.

Yeah, Nickelodeon finally takes the 8PM hour (it could be any Nickelodeon shows, maybe my guess is live-action), first time awhile since 2009 when Malcolm in the Middle joined Nick at Nite and made it 8PM on Nick at Nite and that stayed since, Family Matters in Jun 2010-early Aug 2010, My Wife and Kids in Aug 2010-early 2012, sometimes That 70s Show late 2011, Full House Sept 2012-Aug 2015.

Another update on Nick's schedule before fall, starting this Tuesday week 7:30PM has Talia in the Kitchen has been pulled, and replaced it with SpongeBob. Sunday afternoons Alvinn!!! and SpongeBob were flipped and rearranged, like another Alvinn!! starting 2:30PM, and SpongeBob starting 3:30PM. Alvinn!! 8PM every Friday, PGBC Fridays 8:30PM.

Fairly OddParents will be permanently off the Nick's main schedule.

nick.com schedule grid has finally updated and finally putting pic icons for Henry Danger, NRDD, along with others. But pic icon missing are: Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Mutt & Stuff, Harvey Beaks, Game Changers, Soccer Superstar, Gainesville, Friday Night Lights, Impastor, Jim Gaffigan Show, Parenthood, That 70s Show (but before that in 2011/2012 there used to be a pic of Ashton Kutcher)

Is it confirmed that Friday timeslot is a repeat?
Isn't Wednesday premiere just a one-night thing?
They need to start hardcore promoting this, like, yesterday.

The Friday premieres are new and the Wednesday premiere are Regular and not a one thing.

Also THERE ARE NEW SPONGEBOB ON FRIDAY BEFORE HARVEY Starting 9/18.

They started high definition showings promos started in late fall 2012. High def shows started in 2010 or 2011 except Bucket Skinner.

Thank goodness Nick is replacing most of it's SpongeBob slots with a new, more successful series. :) Justified, it gets higher ratings than SpongeBob and was very well-recieved. Nick's treatment of the show reminds me of how well Cartoon Network treated the original.
And here's the fall weekday schedule, according to LocateTV (begins August 31):
7AM-8:30AM: SpongeBob SquarePants
8:30AM-9:00AM: Alvinnnn! And The Chipmunks
9:00AM-2:00PM: Preschool programming
2:00PM-2:30PM: Alvinnnn! And The Chipmunks
3:00PM-4:00PM: SpongeBob SquarePants
4:00PM-4:30PM: Alvinnnn! And The Chipmunks
4:30PM-6:00PM: SpongeBob SquarePants
6:00PM-6:30PM: Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn
6:30PM-8:00PM: The Thundermans
8:00-9:00PM: Henry Danger

I would complain that it's the same 2 shows over and over, but I'm so glad Nick has learned that cartoons besides SpongeBob can be popular.

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
