The only game there I have interest in is LittleBigPlanet, which I already own. Still, it's a nice gesture, so I'm not about to complain. I wish Ratchet and Clank was a US game though.

I'll take that Little Big Planet, though I wish it was redeemable in disc form. Do I seriously have to download a 50 gig Blu-Ray title through the PS3's broadband speed? Please tell me that's not how it works.

Nope. And it might be that the download dent for LBP could be far less than a 25GB Blu-ray disc. Searches on the US and EU PlayStation Blogs reveal nothing, but the US Blog did mention that inFamous' download dent is at about 6.88 gigs and the average game offered as a full-game trial for PS Plus users never went above 10 GB except for God of War Collection - which was divided up into two full-game trials and neither broke the 7-GB barrier.

As for me, I want to try LBP, but I'll might be doing it through the PSP as I'm still kinda adverse to downloading the full-length games over PSN when their Blu-rays also exist. I'm still deciding between LBP and Pursuit Force, but my definite PSP game will be ModNation. As for PS3, Dead Nation and Wipeout HD it is because I own Super Stardust already.

Meanwhile, I gotta eat crow because, like Shawn, I didn't think they would offer full-length games. Granted, they're titles already offered through PSN's download store, but I still didn't expect them to offer $30 games. It's a good deal nonetheless.

I have some moderate interest in the PS3 titles, but its a real shame that the PSP options are so underwhelming. Especially considering how much better the PSP has become in recent years due to the support from 3rd Parties.

I'll take those free rentals though. Always up for those.

Yeah. That probably would've been a better idea. That way we can choose the game(s) we want. Still, any free games are better than nothing, I guess.

A friend of mine who has a PS3 said he was able to get online the other day for about 2 hours and then when he came back from work and tried to go online it notified him that he was down and he couldn't log on. Is this situation totally fixed now or are people still having issues getting PSN to totally work?

He also received a mysterious credit card charge in his statement he got last night to some Japanese company for $250 dollars and is wondering if this has anything to do with the credit card fiasco, anyone else get hit for something like this? If not then I'm guessing it's something completely unrelated to the PSN hack but I have read stories about subscribers credit card information being stolen so I wouldn't be surprised if the $250 charge was related to it all.

Kotaku added up the retail value of all the goodies if one fully takes advantage of them. It's $104. I don't think $5 credit would do more than insult people, you can't even buy most games for that.

Ratchet and Clank: Quest For Booty isn't really a full length game like the other Ratchet and Clank games. It's a sidestory that takes about three to four hours to finish. It was released on disc in Europe, but only on PSN in the U.S.

Kotaku added up the retail value of all the goodies if one fully takes advantage of them. It's $104. I don't think $5 credit would do more than insult people, you can't even buy most games for that.

Specifically I meant that I would have preferred to convert the existing offer into even a $5 PSN credit despite less direct value so I could have more choice (different value). As I pointed out, it's impossible for me to take full advantage of the offer. It's just a shame conversion wasn't possible as an option, though I suppose it has to do with Sony wanting to reward wronged customers directly as opposed to other game companies.

For me, I'm looking at the PSN games since the commercial releases I can get off gamefly... Wipeout hd fury is a given, i think. And between Stardust and Dead Nation... kinda torn, because Dead Nation looks more interesting even though the metacritic reviews are mediocre in comparison to stardust. But as I'm seeing with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions right now, SOMETIMES THE PEOPLE ARE WRONG. Plus, not a single person who gave Dead Nation a negative score there wrote a review. Hmm, hope there's a demo.

I don't know. I only just started on InFamous before I decided to return it as a rental. This may be good.

I already have all of the games listed except for Dead Nation.

Eh, honestly it could've been worse and we could've got nothing but the package of games is slightly lackluster because most people own or have played most of them.
Luckily I DO NOT have Super Stardust HD or Wipeout HD + Fury (Which I played the demo a while back and LOVED but didn't feel like throwing down $20) So it works out for me.

Personally I don't mind. I've been meaning to play LittleBigPlanet for a while and Infamous is a good enough game to get again for free, especially since I don't know where my hard copy went.

The Store may be back this Tuesday, with plans to also publish on Friday for two weeks to make up for the missed dates. After that, it will be back to normal on June 7.

Yes, everybody is having this problem. The store is not up and running yet. As Vyse posted, they expect to have the store online by Tuesday. The wait is just a little bit longer.

Well I've been playing MLB11: The Show recently and I had purchased the Classic Parks before this whole fiasco, but in the menu the parks still show as being locked until you click on them, at which point your system verifies with the PSN Store that you have actually paid for them to be unlocked, and even though the store is still down, I've still been able to access them. (I didn't try to access them while the whole network was down, so I don't know if they were working then, but right now with the PSN Store still off line, they are still accessible.)

I just go out and say it: NO. NO STORE UPDATE TODAY. But, on the flip side, the PSP firmware update is now up if you only have a PSP and didn't do the whole "email verification" thing to change your password.
