Sorry if this is a lame post. But I've been trying to figure out where the headshot of Batman (next to Robin) on this page's background comes from. I don't have TV and only get to see the DCAU via DVD and that helmet he's wearing doesn't look familiar. My only guess is Justice Lords?

It's from the Kids WB! Preview of 'The Batman.' It really doesn't look like the final design in the show and we're gonna change it one of these days.

I think we are anyway. :D

The specific shot is here.

One of these days, I'd really like to see what Matsuda's vision for The Batman would have really been like outside of Kid's WB influences. If that preview and "Dracula" have been any indication, it may have been even way cooler than what we got.

I kinda like this one.

Leave it.

Don't change it!
I miss The Batmans bottom lip, he should have kept it even if it did make him look older.

yea don't change it, i've come acostumed to seeing that "the batman' everytimei come.

Or, change it completely within the week. Whatever works for you.

wow, this bacground is pretty hard on the eyes.

It is difficult to look at the screen, and I'm not being sarcastic.

Hmm, I think it's fine, I rather like it.

Regarding the change in the Batman and Wayne model cheets, it's possible that it was Matsuda or someone else on the crew's decision to change it. Hey, Bruce Timm and co were going to reuse the Superman, Batman, and Flash model sheets from The New Batman/Superman Adventures until Glen Murakami and James Tucker said they needed a new Superman design, which set the domino effect in motion for their JL/JLU Designs (Well, in Superman's case, two:p)

Same here. Pretty interesting, though it was weird at first, but at least the TB version of Batman is more accurate to the toon. I kinda like it like this.:)

Good bye bottom lip.....
the new backround is too red....

I'm with you here. This new background is really hard to look at. Maybe its the red, its just to much and the first time I looked at it I went blind for a couple of seconds. I prefer the older one more, atleast the color anyways.

I mean no personal insult or anything, but I have to laugh whenever anyone says that. Because someone always says that and then will say it again when it's changed again.

It's the nature of change. Few like it. I'm certain this will grow on others as the last one did. As moody as this board has been with bad news lately, I think it's a nice swift kick in the pants to be happy.

Then again that's me, but whatever. :D

Perhaps it's a sign that every subsequent background will always be a little bit worse than the one that's come before it. Better stop changing it. ;)

I like this one. It has Green Arrow. The red-orange will take a bit to get used to, I'm more a fan of cool colors, but whatever. The juxtaposing of BTAS Bats and Robin above TB and TT Bats and Robin is clever.

its not tht we dont like it as much, the colors are just not easy on the eyes, i know at least i've been avoiding the forum more and plan to keep doing it instead of checking it more often for that reason.

red color schemes=BAD. It's a nice design but looking at overly red stuff for too long makes me see spots.

It's interesting. The shot of BTAS Batman shows him to have a green-looking tint on his costume. The Green Batman? Seems pretty Green to me.

(For a little secret, the word "Green" is a mildly derogatory term in my household.)

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
