once again, CN shows STAS the back of its hand and decides not to show this weeks episode

what do we get instead?

a rabbit-eared koala thing named Ryo-Ohki and Tenchi

sigh

i like tenchi well enough-- when he's not invading the STAS timeslot

With Smallville doing so well over at WB and signs of life being breathed back into the Superman movie going full steam ahead you'd think they'd give STAS a better timeslot overall like FoxKids is doing with Spiderman reruns

I find it amazing how little respect the animated adventures of Big Blue seem to get. It's like CN treats S:TAS the same way Superman gets treated in JL:TAS - once he's there he gets swatted away like he was non-existent.

I really wish Superman would get more respect and finally be given a standard time slot to operate out of. I guess my quest for Superman VCD's should continue though - it doesn't look like I'll be able to see a lot of the Superman episodes without them.

I'm hoping that whenever it is the Superman movie comes out the WB also decides to make another Superman animated series with all new creators, writers and animation people to helm it like Marvel is doing with Spiderman cuz The Man of Steel is definitly do for another revamp.......

it's been 6 years since Timm & Co.s version, 3 since it got cancelled and the JL's Sup......weeeell......

'nuff said  :D

There is just one problem with the Spiderman reruns on ABC family, they are edited. The Disney hacks decided that the Fox censors didn't do enough of an overbearing "can't throw a punch" job on the show. Watch it carefully, not only does Spidey never throw a punch, but YOU actually never see him kick anyone either.

I first noticed this during the fights with Morbius. The screen (for a noticeable fraction of a second) goes black the moment Spidey comes into contact with Morbius. Also, timing of the commercials is off, mostly on the second commercial break (it's obvious because it often breaks up an action sequence with no room for a transition to commercial). I don't mind the rearranging of the "Previously on Spiderman" segments now after the intro sequence (as opposed to before).

But hey, at least it's on. Let's hope they don't dump their Saban stuff anytime soon (the old "we have it so no one else can air it" game).

Yeah, I'm also very disappointed that no Supes is airing this week. :(

It should've ran for as many seasons and episodes as its post-predecessor Uncle Grandpa did.
I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
