Writers: Ed Brisson
Artists: George Kambadais

Synopsis for Issue #1:

In the nearby galaxy of Limbo, the deadly mob boss Mon*Star has escaped from his confinement on Penal Planet 10 — and he’s looking to take revenge on everyone who put him there!

At the top of that list is Commander Stargazer, the grizzled space cop who personally took Mon*Star down the last time he went on a rampage. To recapture Mon*Star and his gang of super-criminal associates, Stargazer must put his retirement on hold and assemble a new team of his famed bionically enhanced law enforcers — the SilverHawks!

Recruited from every corner of known space by the Federal Interplanetary Force, the SilverHawks were engineered to be the first line of defense against Limbo’s ruthless agents of chaos. But during Mon*Star’s long incarceration, the program went dormant, and its state-of-the-art tech has drifted towards obsolescence. Now, as they take on the galaxy’s deadliest lawbreakers, Stargazer’s new team of untested cyborgs — including Quicksilver, Bluegrass, Hotwing, Steelwill, Steelheart, and The Copper Kidd — will face the ultimate trial by fire!

Rising star writer ED BRISSON (ThunderCats: Apex, The Uncanny X-Men) and acclaimed artist GEORGE KAMBADAIS (Gargoyles, Hercules) open up an all-new entry in the FIF’s legendary case files with SilverHawks #1 — featuring beautifully polished covers from LUCIO PARRILLO, JAE LEE & JUNE CHUNG, JAMES STOKOE, GERALDO BORGES, DECLAN SHALVEY, LESLEY “LEIRIX” LI, MANIX, and DAVID COUSENS!

Synopsis for Issue #2:
After the escape of notorious mobster Mon*Star torpedoed Stargazer's retirement plans, the erstwhile commander of the SilverHawks is scrambling to get his moribund program of cybernetically enhanced agents back on track. But the crime lord's prison break has given evildoers across the galaxy a head start over the forces of law and order — as Bluegrass and Hotwing find out when they discover Mon*Star meeting with their own employer, Poker-Face!

As the two desperately race to escape Poker Face's enforcers and inform the SilverHawks of his treachery, Stargazer faces a bigger challenge — convincing a traumatized Quicksilver to join the newly revived team!

Casino pit boss ED BRISSON (ThunderCats: Apex, The Uncanny X-Men) and professional card shark GEORGE KAMBADAIS (Gargoyles, Hercules) raise the stakes in the second issue of their no-limit series — with the house going all-in on covers from LUCIO PARRILLO, JAE LEE & JUNE CHUNG, JAMES STOKOE, GERALDO BORGES, IVAN TAO, LESLEY "LEIRIX" LI, MANIX, and DAVID COUSENS!

Discuss this comic series below!!

I began reading the series a few weeks ago after I was impressed with the Dynamite run of ThunderCats and honestly, what can I say is that it's actually quite good and so far, I've managed to be up to date with it since issue 6 came out recently.

Here's hoping that TigerSharks will get their own comic book one day.

If you're wondering, I've caught up with  SilverHawks since it concluded its run after ten issues but the final issue does end with an "adventure continues" panel since it sets up ThunderCats × SilverHawks which will begin with the prelude ThunderCats Lost in Time next month before it begins in March with the Road to War one-shot that starts the 15-part series.

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
