On the season finale...
Jake embarks on a solo mission to help a broken-hearted Finn.

If that title card is anything to go on, this episode is gonna be HUGE. I'm excited!

It sucks that I already know who Finn's new love interest is. This looks like a cool episode anyways though. I wonder who voices her.

Holy cow this is gonna be great.

Wait... new love interest? Now I'm having second thoughts...

What? New love interest ?? Can't miss this episode then. Btw George Takei was doing the voice over for the promo for this episode.I guess that means you know who might appear in the episode .

My hopes are high for this one, especially after the preview clip I saw. Given the last great few episodes, I'm really pumped for this…just will have to see how it turns out.

Can't wait!

Really excited about this! I think season 3 has been a step up for Adventure Time on many points, and I'm sure the finale will end it nicely.

it was interesting but i was expecting a full half hour to cover the issue so it seemed rushed

Ohohoho man that was the best episode ever so far. Fire princess actually being evil was the best thing ever, it certainly turned around this "princess meets finn and cheers him up" plot. Finn does feel better in the end, actually. :)

That's it? That's the ending? I wish there was more though, it kinda felt unfinished.

Here's to Season 4!

Well unless Finn can turn her good that crush is not going to last long. Though I really liked Jake's antics though, from killing the jester to singing Finn's song to the princess with a new set of words.

Great episode :anime:
My favorite parts are Jake at the Fire Kingdom and Jake finding out that the Fire Princess is evil XD
I haven't decided if i want Finn and the Fire Princess together yet i need to see more episodes
Did anyone notice that the Fire King sounds like Keith David's voice?

This honestly felt like half an episode. It was great for what it was (the fire princess being evil in particular, andFinn getting a crush on her), but when it stopped where it did, I honestly thought it would continue after the commercial break. Oh well.

Actually I'm pretty sure the fire king IS Keith David. Since hey he is a voice actor and though isn't a commonly used one I think he would still be doing acting in the field so good to see him here.

As for this episode, yeah this one felt seriously rushed. To be fair I guess that's also Cartoon Network's fault considering that this is only part of a full episode and they promoted it a lot as a big event. When the main idea was Finn getting a new love possible love interest and seeing how that plays into Season 4. Then again season 2 ended with Princess Bubblegum becoming younger and that wound up only being important for one season three episode that seemed to be pushing Finn into wanting Bubblegum which this episode seems to suggest he should get over so... getting mixed signals on how important these endings are suppose to be. Also in general the ending once the fire princess came to the castle just felt too quickly paced and left on a pretty odd note. That's not to say this episode was bad. I really liked the opening of Bemo using a racing game as a soundtrack for Finn's song, Bemo threathening to kill anyone who tries to hurt Finn (shouldn't it tried fighting the fire princess then? Just saying), the Tom Kenny Grouch mark sounding fire guy having a feminte voice and giving Jake a fire shiled while spitting on him, Jake's gifts to the king (mostly in killing the jester the king didn't even like and singing the song about how finn's going to make up with the princess in front of the king) and Jake getting into imitating Finn so much he winds up accidentley choking himself. Still uneven episode though if this is an on and off plotline of season four hope it gets more focus then the last lingering plotline of season two had on season three.

Really overrated. It wasn't all bad, but didn't meet my expectations. The whole Jake at the Fire Kingdom part just was boring to me.

Not liking it as much as others did =/= the episode being overrated.

Here's to Season 4!

That's what we call a season finale cliffhanger ;)

As good as the episode was, I thought it was a bit over-hyped, too. Nowhere near huge special I thought it was going to be.

Let's hope the Season 4 Opener can make up for people's disappointment here...

As for myself, I saw it coming. So I wasn't disappointed - though maybe now Finn will stop hitting on someone who doesn't desire him (and not just because of age differences, either). I'm just glad he doesn't/isn't going to do this stuff to Marceline (if Go With Me was any smart indication that a relationship between someone who's bit too much of a good guy (Finn) and someone who's rowdy/dark-hearted in nature and can't always be trusted (Marceline), wouldn't really work out,
IMHO.).

Yeah - the reason I bring Marceline up - the same could be said about Jimmy and Heloise (J2S - a show I had a hard time being truly entertained by because of stuff like this), honestly now that I noticed it.

Though trying to get with someone who's clearly a villain when you're a good guy - yeah. This isn't going to work at all, IMHO (even if/unless Finn were to make her a good guy somehow. Even then, she doesn't show interest at all, if the way things ended was any indication.).

So, yeah... I wasn't feeling this one that much. Then again, I don't watch Adventure Time to see Finn try to get into a relationship with PB, unless there's something there to make it interesting/entertaining. Same with Marceline (especially considering her age), but thankfully Finn knows they're just (really) good friends - and I feel that's an off-subject point.

Bottom line - The Season 4 Opener is really going to have to impress me to get myself (not speaking for anyone else, it's been said to death) out of feeling disappointed in this cliffhanger - especially considering this is about hooking Finn up another girl who clearly doesn't desire Finn at all.

After all this, I can only hope PB (like Marceline), is still good friends with Finn (let alone is still in this show to keep things interesting/entertaining, which she is, when not like this). I really don't want to see her become something unlikable just because of this one unfortunate mishap.

I just want the writers to focus less on getting Finn a desirable mate, honestly, and just continue to be funny and/or action-packed, where necessary (if not both - because it is possible to be both in the right hands).

There are now 78 episodes of adventure time. Only about a half-dozen of those actually focus on finn's love life (another half-dozen if you count episodes where its a minor element but not the focus). Seems like the writers are already much less focused on finn's love love and prioritizing the fun and adventure aspect of the show.

Here's a fun article I wrote on why Ruby and Jade from Sofia The First are good characters.
Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
