^Kinda, I think Maddie Queripel and Alex Cline are the show's weakest writers right now. It's a shame cause Queripel had a chance to be an awesome when she started off, but now she is responsible for my least favorite episode (which was in season 5). I'll talk more about her writing problems below.
Anyways, I loved Hello China because it's a do something different episode which we need to see more of and not rely on recycling plots. Benson and Rigby were well written here and I loved the rap sequence. Toby Jones and Owen Dennis are almost constant in their episodes they get paired up (except Paint Job and The Dome Experiment Special).
Crazy Fake Plan was adequate. The pacing and the execution of its plot felt so sluggish that it bothered me about the whole "wanting to find out the real plan." Madde and Alex, you two really need improvements in your episodes. Write more episodes like The Parkie Awards cause that one felt like an old episode. And folks, am I the only one that doesn't care about Rigleen at all? It never been a big deal for me to begin with.
Win That Prize was also a letdown. I loved that Pops got to carry an episode all by himself without Mordecai and Rigby helping him, but the execution was off as well. It confuses me with the whole plot and it made the whole title very misleading. You thought it was gonna be a gameshow episode, only to be about Pops accidentally be part of another show. While it's nice to have a Pops episode, I think the writers had explored the TV world in Regular Show enough already (That My Television, Carter and Briggs, and more). Sorry Calvin and Casey (and Crowe, this is your weakest episode so far).
Snow Tubing looks good based from the promo, so hopefully it'll be as great as Hello China.
