It's embarrasing to me because it was about 5 days before commissioning and graduation; it took a LOT of makeup to cover this black eye up so that I looked somewhat normal in the pictures. :mad: My advisor didn't believe the story, either. My parents just laughed when they saw me. So did the friends who knew us both. Then my grandmother chastised me saying that's what I get for avoiding studying.

A few years ago, I was over at a friend's house, his little brother was playing with his dad's firearm (which, needless to say, was not properly stored). One thing led to another, and I wound up accidentally taking a bullet in the shoulder. Let me tell you kids, it's not as easy Spike Spiegel makes it look. It seems like that guy takes half a clip every time he goes out to buy groceries...

Thankfully, the bullet came out and now I have a story to tell, as well as membership in the extremely exclusive "The Nation's Shot" club (not to be confused with "The Nation's Punched").

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
