The DCAU ended 20 years ago tomorrow on 7-23-2005

Time sure does fly by. The DCAU actually ended with Justice League Unlimited Epilogue on July 23 2005. Even though it ended the DCAU, more DCAU was still being produced after and I am glad we got a season 3 of Justice League Unlimited. I consider Epilogue the definite ending to the DCAU. Epilogue is my favorite Batman the Animated Series and Batman Beyond episode even though it is a Justice League Unlimited episode. I still consider Epilogue to be part of Batman the Animated Series and Batman Beyond. What do you people think?

Actually, JLU concluded its run in the U.S.A. in 2006. "Destroyer" first aired in the U.K. in February 2006, before then airing in the U.S.A. months later.

I think jpb681991 was going more with the symbolic end (and JLU season 3 was actually not planned when the team were making 1 and 2 they were getting a pick up but were fine making more episodes) since yeah "Alive/Destroyer" are the actual end of the DCAU but the one that you know takes place in the end of what we know of the timeline (as it takes place like 10 years after Batman Beyond) and connection back to the start of the DCAU with BTAS to others as well makes it feel more like the ending.

Destroyer did not end the DCAU in my opinion. Destroyer is just the series finale to Justice League Unlimited whereas Epilogue is the series finale to the entire DCAU.
