The only weapon that could kill Darkseid....

I just wanted to note that I always thought that The Call's Superman was like the Kingdom Come Superman, I.E. years of absorbing radiation from the sun has made him significantly stronger.

I think the only thing that could kill him is the good ol' Anti-Life equation.

The Anti Life Equation doesnt kill .Solving the equation gives a person the ability to effortlessly eliminate all free will, thus enabling the person with it to control all life. Part of the equation is said to be in the human mind which is the reason Darkseid shys away from destroying the Earth most of the time because someone on the planet might unknowingly have it.

That's the way I've always understood the DCAU food chain. As for the question itself, I don't think a nuclear blast, even at point blank range, would kill Darkseid. Since Darkseid is supernatural (a 'god'), he can only be killed with supernatural weapons. A weapon designed by gods to kill gods, perhaps?

Darkseid was almost killed by Doomsday so I dont think it takes any special weapons to kill him. He can be physically beaten to death and energy at a great enough magnitude would kill him.
Awhile back Superman beat Darkseid by pounding his face in causing his eyes to swole to the point where he could not use his omega beams during thier fight and Darkseid gave up declaring himself defeated.

Sorry to ask but who is Doomsday. I've never kept up with all the comics.

:D
I still like my god hunter idea people who hunt and kill gods. It could be a great story even if it was only a mini series. They would have a tie to the Lanterns also. Then it could get really complex, but it might be too much for today's people. The idea of hunting and killing off gods. For what reason of out fear or something else. I better just shut up it could get "way" too deep.

Oh well maybe one day I'll write a book or comic.

Doomsday is the creature that succesfully killed Superman several years ago. He was created on Krypton to evolve past death. So that if you kill him once one way you cant kill him the same way again. He's highly invulnerable, stronger than Superman and has sharp boneS pertruding his hands.

Other than Superman, Doomsday has killed Mongul and Steel (Steel came back though) and beaten The Justice League, Darkseid , The Radiant ( a being designed to defeat Doomsday) and when he aquired a power ring he beat alot of the GLCorp and nearly defeated The Guadians of The Universe themselves.

Ugh, let us not bring up Doomsday. He has this huge "Can only be defeated by Superman" character shield.

I actually like that idea except for one thing, anyone with the power to kill a god would pretty much be a god.

I meant that they would have advance weapons. Weapons that could equal and even surpass Darkseid's powerful omega beams; mortals or powerful mortals with technology that no other being could ever comprehend.

Possible Conflicts

1 With Superman who doesn’t mind Darkseid being killed. However he doesn’t want the other gods to be killed.

2 Forced team ups between Highfather, Darkseid, Superman, Justice League, and the Lantern core.

3 Some involvement by Lex Luther, Brainiac, Vandal Salvage, Mongol, and of course the old gods.

I also had ideas about Next-Gen gods who would pose a huge threat to them all. They could even be a driving force for the god hunters. If writers didn’t like them they could be removed. They whole story would have to be done in a way that can be undone if needed. Preferably without any type of cheesy plot devise or plot hole in an elegant and unique manner.

In other words it’s something that needs to be looked at very hard. Sorry about any misspelled names and/or typos here. Twilight has really shocked me so to speak.

I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
