Sony's E3 conference is coming up in about a half hour from right now, with preshow kicking off. Last year we got looks at some exciting stuff, such as Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian. Here's hoping for some nice surprises here too.

There's also a lot of streaming coverage this week, & you can get the overview for all that here:

For now, here's the youtube stream for Sony's conference. Sony's Live Events Viewer App is also a way to run this to your TV from your console.

Sony's press conference was my favorite between the ones I saw (Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, parts of EA). Good to see (a short teaser of) Crash. And that Spider-Man game looked really nice.

I was crossing fingers for a reboot, but you know what? I'll take remastered Crash Bandicoot. At this rate, I would love anything for this franchise to have the love it deserves and in capable hands (whoever the developers may be, I hope they'll do it justice.) Too bad Crash Team Racing is not on that least, but if I wasn't motivated to buy a PS4 now, then this is it.

The developer is confirmed to be Vicarious Visions (Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, N-Tranced, Nitro Kart, and Crash Purple/Spyro Orange). The remakes are in good hands.

Hmmm, I guess I'll be fine with that. The GBA games and Nitro Kart were okay. They only felt...okay, but yeah, the Crash games they've made were at least in competent territory.

Vicarious Visions is basically the most logical option, considering Naughty Dog's not interested and Crash's other developers over the years are defunct or owned by WB Games. VV's Crash games were faithful to the originals, probably a little too faithful, but in the case of remakes that should be adequate.

The original three Crash games being remade huh? Finally a reason to get a PS4 besides Uncharted 4 and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III. Aside from the fact that well, it's Crash Bandicoot, there really are not enough cartoony platformers nowadays (which I am always a sucker for), so this is great! Perhaps if these remakes do well, they'll do an actual reboot of Crash (perhaps as a 'continuation' from the third game, or an entirely new story-line in the spirit of the original three). Or even better, it would give more companies an incentive to produce more games of this type, maybe eventually create another game à la Conker's Bad Fur Day (not another remake or reboot per say, but nothing else in media history has even combined mature themes and cartoon environments like Conker did, it was awesome!).

Having one hit after another, Sony easily won and saved E3. The Crash reaction from the crowd was priceless. I have faith his return will be big. That Skylanders version looks decent.

I think because of last year I wasn't too thrilled about what we got this year (Last year was hype for me). Which is unfortunate because I can't think of what I would've liked to have seen either.

I never really cared for the Infamous series but if that Spider-Man game continues to look like that then I'm for it.

I don't know. Spider-Man and Zelda were the only games that really caught my attention this year.

Because of the hype from last years E3 (I wasn't expecting much to begin with) and the leaks (or crummy business choices) that just seem to come out the woodwork killed it a bit for me.

Edit:
I did forget about Tekken 7, but I've been anticipating that game for quite some time now, but other than that, yeah not much.

Last night started watching a new adult animated series, a Netflix original that is basically the succesor to Big Mouth.

What is so great? Despite being a 18+ show, they actually bothered to give it a Romanian dub :ack::eek:
