Part of me hopes DeMarco's trolling and that the show is "brand new". I know that having quality is important and all but I seriously think Toonami is going to run into problems if they don't have at least one other actual premiere that isn't Bleach. Especially since they can't lean on it forever. It's not like the recent years have been that starved in terms of quality action shows. They could find something relatively new that could work if they wanted to.

Or maybe they can snatch up a last-minute Bandai deal before they close up shop (Eureka 7 turned out quite well). Outlaw Star, Gundam, or their multiple other shows would be nice to see again.

I doubt it'll be something Gundam, but 00 or even Zeta, being the two Gundam dubs that never aired on Toonami (excluding Seed Destiny), would be nice additions. 00 would be more likely, considering Zeta is ancient compared to the rest of the lineup.

I like Gurren Lagann and all but I seriously hope not. The show's gotten enough exposure as it is. Even if it is an older title, I think it would be more interesting ig it was something glossed over(kind of unlikely but eh) when it first came out.

I'm guessing by "new", he's talking about if the show is recent. So, the show will be new to Adult Swim, but it's not going to be recent.

Honestly, I'll be fine if it isn't another brand new show since most of those would probably be too expensive for their budget at the moment. As long as it doesn't have a lot of exposure, then I think it will be fine. Samurai 7 has done relatively well despite being on DVD for a few years and the block is doing well enough at the moment anyway, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Well, I will not be doing the talkbacks for GXP. I despised that show. I think it's garbage.

I'm not going to go into detail about it until a few episodes run. If people want to try to watch it, they should go ahead and do so. But I highly doubt it'll do better than Casshern after the first few episodes when the nostalgia filter fades. GXP visually never looked good to begin with and has aged terribly over the years, has an atrocious and dated soundtrack, and the plot . . . well, it has no plot. That's just a glimpse of what problems I have with the show.

..Yeah, I'm not too big on this being Casshern's replacement either.

I guess it would be no surprise if it was cheap to get though..

That's the one Tenchi show I never really much cared for.
I found the main character to be quite annoying, and I'm not too terribly huge a fan of the nigh-constant fan-service, either.
And this is coming from someone who loved Tenchi in Tokyo.

Then again, my experience with the show is very limited.

Least Toonami's still alive, huh?
And it comes on pretty early in the block, so we can get it over with quickly, right?

I've never seen it, but I think I'm still partial to the old cast + Tenchi Universe Kiyone.
