That's good. I hope that whatever they pick is better than GXP was for me.

With the recent announcement of the Sword Art Online dub, I wouldn't be surprised if that was their pick; it's a very popular show.

Eh..I hope not(though I wouldn't be surprised).

The first half of Swords is what usually grabs the attention for providing a pretty decent story with a lot of fun characters. ...The second half is like an atomic bomb of cliche with so many problems that I like to call it "The bad aspects of Japanese animation". Those who have been constantly raging about female characters being helpless will probably end up exploding from what comes out of Swords by the end of it. But again, the first half is pretty darn ok for what its worth.

On the Aniplex livestream yesterday, they said they'd pitched stuff to Toonami but they needed fans to make requests of what Aniplex shows we want on Toonami. As such I'm guessing Tenchi's replacement is a FUNi show and we won't be seeing any Aniplex shows on the block until E7 finishes barring a surprise expansion.

The only shows from Aniplex that I would like to see on Toonami are Madoka and maybe Fate/Zero since I've heard good things about the latter. I've heard that Sword Online starts off pretty well, but falls apart in the second half. I'd probably be willing to give it a shot, but I'd be fine if something else came onto the block instead. I'm not sure if they could get shows that recent due to their small budget, especially with how expensive Aniplex must be given the DVD prices. There are plenty of shows from Funimation's library that I'd like to see too, so hopefully the Toonami crew have made a good choice as to what will replace GXP.

Yeah, like Shakugan no Shana. It's a pretty good show. It does have its detractors, however (i.e. Classic Speedy). Still, I recommend that you be your own judge.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are planning on replacing Tenchi GXP with FLCL just to keep the comedy/action flowing at 3am.

I guess this means that Eureka Seven or Sym Bionic Titan might be pushed back into the 3am slot.

I could see Sym-Bionic Titan moving to 3AM. It already had a full run on the block and it gets okay ratings usually. Eureka Seven doesn't do much better, so that would be the only other show I could see moving to 3AM. It probably depends on what ratings they get in the next few months.

The show is getting a second run on Toonami, as will Thundercats when its first run ends in a few weeks.

Toonami dudes say that just because Tenchi GXP is on at 3am, does not necessarily mean the replacement show will be on at 3am.

They'll always try a new show earlier than where a low rated show might end up but they don't have the money to start up another show before they finish that lower rated show and get their money's worth.

That's when Thundercats finishes its run. GXP will end on May 4th.

New game review this weekend (probably Ni No Kuni) and a reairing of the “Fall Down Seven Times, Stand Up Eight” video this weekend.

I gotta laugh, each time Jason tweets something about Ni no Kuni, people think a review is RIGHT around the corner. Yesterday, he tweeted a image showing he JUST NOW finished it. I'd say give it another month or so and it'll show up as a review, possibly sooner.

I'm really hoping what Zap2It has is correct. I took a small peek into the DST night, and Sym-Bionic Titan and Eureka 7 are skipped (as expected), but when I looked a bit further, I noticed something interesting:

Perhaps they ARE making up for lost time?

Personally, I wont be sure before the Toonami crew has confirmed it. First of all, the schedule hasn't updated to thst night so it still shows ThunderCats at 1 and Samurai 7 at 1:30. It also doesn't make any sense that both the 2am and 6am hours are missing.
