That will probably happen around the time Blue Exorcist finishes its run in the Fall, unless Aniplex USA decides to have Toonami run Gurren Lagann first.

I was hoping that they'd get the 11PM slot for Attack on Titan, so I'm kind of disappointed in that regards. It's too bad that most of the other shows have to be pushed down a slot or two to include it, but if they couldn't get the 11PM slot, then that was probably the only other option for them. They'd want to put it at the start of the block, especially so that they could hopefully include the opening themes in tact.

Implodes upon implodes of excitement everywhere I look about AoT

No 11pm, but that's okay. Great it gets the lead-off spot with Dandy repeats moving to 12:30, will be interesting to see how repeats of it fare there, but a few shows moving 30m later... 'eh'. Not much of matter to me anyway since I record everything I want starting at One Piece and beyond.

Final note, it's fun that the last 3 shows are all western animation -- the three State-side S's of Toonami

I thought the exact same thing. Have to imagine that if this new time for Dandy is kept for premiers, that we'll just see the 30s intro since it's not the lead-off show (not getting into the argument on other shows like GITS still getting full opening, despite no ending)

I don't really care much for Attack on Titan, but it was neat to be seeing the old gothic Toonami logo again. Good memories.

It makes plenty of sense that they're getting this on. I'm not surprised it goes first either. It's a great show and I'll look forward to seeing it dubbed.

I'm sorta kind that we're having Bleach staying at 12 and then having Dandy between Bleach and Shippuden. That does not seem logical. I wonder if the other premieres will move up again when Dandy and Bleach ends.

In a word: Yes

AoT I completely understand, but I do wish they could've done something else with Space Dandy, rather than letting the re-runs push down the other shows.

This is the only anime I see casual non-anime fans talking about.... and it hasn't even debuted in English yet.

This show is HUGE. No pun intended. I wish OP had this level of success, but that's pointless to think about now. It sucks that all the premieres were pushed back (besides Bleach, grr) but... whatever. -__-

Yeah, pretty much. Attack on Titan is hugely popular, has been highly requested to air on the block and it's going to premiere before the first DVD set is released. Putting it on the first slot of the block makes sense and it's better than keeping Space Dandy reruns there until the second season premiere. I was hoping that they'd get the 11PM slot for Attack on Titan, especially when that wouldn't have affected the airings for the other shows, but perhaps the show's ratings could help with eventually getting that timeslot.

If anything, putting Space Dandy at 12:30AM, instead of after Black Lagoon, is the problem. I could see why they wouldn't want to put it on that late considering how well it did in ratings, but considering that it's a rerun pushing down premiere episodes on the block, I don't think that it would have been too bad to put it on later and then move it back up when July rolls around.

I suppose you should also exclude any anime that are licensed and then chopped up for kids.

I'm pretty sure both Deadman Wonderland and Sword Art Online premiered on the block before being released on DVD. It's still a big deal due to how popular Attack on Titan is, so being on TV before the DVD set is released practically guarantees that it will have huge ratings.

Well, if you want to count it, Adult Swim's run of Bleach has always quite a way ahead of the DVDs. In fact, right now the Toonami airing is 49 episodes ahead of the Viz Media releases.
