Why we whine
I happened upon this entry in the Disney Re-Imagineering blog, and I realized it hits on a lot of the same points that those of us who have been showing concern for the present and future of Cartoon Network. Definitely worth a read. Obviously, this doesn't relate to precisely the same subject matter, but the arguments are relevant.
It's not merely the loss of any one program block or the addition of poorly fitting content; it's the perceived abandonment of a system of values that we hold dear, while those who hold the purse strings show little regard.
