Here's some brainstorming I and some other people did in chat.

WashuWorshipper: In any case, alot of me wishes they'd just make a Young Justice cartoon instead, rather than forcing the Wolfman/Perez Titans into being something they weren't
LeviathanmanZ200: Quick funny fact: in the "Mythos" The Hoyl Grail i sreally the Cup of Ctuhlutu.. WHich DOES get Eve rlatin glife, but as a Deep one.. :Done in COC.:
WashuWorshipper: Ohhhhkay.
LeviathanmanZ200: :remember sthat from indy Artifact and that story plot thing.:
JackApostrophe: A YJ cartoon would be extremely awesome
WashuWorshipper: It certainly could be.
WashuWorshipper: Though Superboy would almost certainly be replaced with Supergirl
WashuWorshipper: Which is a good thing, since Wonder Girl would be difficult to include
WashuWorshipper: I'd still rather see a New Gods or Legion TAS, though
JackApostrophe: Well Cassie would be pretty easy to have
JackApostrophe: Donna OTOH....
WashuWorshipper: The problem with Cassie is that Wonder Woman just appeared
JackApostrophe: Yeah, but she doesn't really need to be anything other than a WW fan who was granted power by Zeus, or even just wears those gloves and boots
JackApostrophe: Impulse of course is easy to include... Ahh, the wonders of time travel.. :-)
WashuWorshipper: Heh
WashuWorshipper: Or how about this: Cassie is a teen who manifested superhuman powers for unknown reasons, and took the Wonder Girl identity because she idolizes the new heroine Wonder Woman
JackApostrophe: Works
WashuWorshipper: Its only later revealed that she has powers because her unknown father was actually Zeus
JackApostrophe: Works and has story potential
JackApostrophe: :-D
WashuWorshipper: However, she'd work best as a later recruit, not an initial member, IMHO
JackApostrophe: Easy way to start - Impulse is brought to the present to learn to use his speed and be a hero like his ancestor, and is naturally dumped on the laps of Robin and Supergirl
WashuWorshipper: For the initial roster, I'm thinking Supergirl, Robin, and the newly introduced Impulse, with perhaps a single adult hero keeping an eye on them ( or trying )
WashuWorshipper: That works
WashuWorshipper: Perhaps the initial villain or threat comes from the future, as well
JackApostrophe: Alakazam!
WashuWorshipper: Could work, since the series *should* be relatively light-hearted, at least half the time
WashuWorshipper: And I don't object to it so much in a YJ series as for a TT series
WashuWorshipper: Hmm, maybe Martian Manhunter acts as their mentor??
JackApostrophe: Red Tornado is a little much to hope for
WashuWorshipper: After all, he's the only JLer or adult hero I can think of whose had kids
JackApostrophe: As a newcomer to Earth he fits the Tornado role quite well
WashuWorshipper: ( the fact that I'm a hardcore Martian Manhunter fan has nothing to do with this idea, of course )
JackApostrophe: Of course not... ;-)
WashuWorshipper: Now, there'd be the obligatory Static crossover. . .
JackApostrophe: Not a problem
JackApostrophe: Not that I've seen Static
JackApostrophe: Isn't shown here
WashuWorshipper: I've heard that its fairly good
WashuWorshipper: You know, the dynamic of this initial roster would be significantly different than for comic YJ, since Supergirl doesn't have the same intelligence issues Superboy had
WashuWorshipper: She strikes me as more mature and sensible
JackApostrophe: Well the only episodes I've seen of the Superman series were in German
JackApostrophe: So I wouldn't know
WashuWorshipper: Ah
WashuWorshipper: Gotta go for a sec. Laundry
JackApostrophe: Well, I understand some German
LeviathanmanZ200 has left the room.
JackApostrophe has left the room.
JackApostrophe has entered the room.
WashuWorshipper: welcome back
WashuWorshipper: AIM troubles??
JackApostrophe: Nah, random disconnect
WashuWorshipper: Now, lets see, what would make for some other good YJ:TAS stories. . .
LeviathanmanZ200 has entered the room.
WashuWorshipper: welcome
WashuWorshipper: Hmm, Arrowette as Green Arrow and Black Canary's daughter??
LeviathanmanZ200 has left the room.
JackApostrophe: Were Green Arrow and Black Canary in the previous series?
WashuWorshipper: Nope
WashuWorshipper: They'd be new characters
WashuWorshipper: Might be best to drop the sonic powers and have them both be street-level vigilantes
JackApostrophe: I suppose to make that work you could have her be an orphan with metahuman accuracy who later discovers her biolofical parents were superheroes
JackApostrophe: That way you don't have to rely on overly retconned characters
WashuWorshipper: OTOH, how did she end up an orphan??
JackApostrophe: A climactic battle against the forces of darkness in which her parents sacrificed themselves to save the world. I mean come on! What else could it be? ;-)
WashuWorshipper: Ah, true
WashuWorshipper: In that case, they'd both be part of the previous generation of heroes ( as in, prior to the era of Superman and Batman )
JackApostrophe: Yep, which makes it easier
WashuWorshipper: That would work, though it would anger people who want to see GA or BC on JL
WashuWorshipper: These story ideas would work best if there's some carry-over between episodes, as opposed to strictly separate stories
JackApostrophe: As there should be in all shows
WashuWorshipper: Yeah, but I mean something almost like that in the old X-Men cartoon
WashuWorshipper: Though not quite as extreme
JackApostrophe: Why do shows continue to use "Tabula Rasa" as a title? Surely everyone knows what that means by now..
WashuWorshipper: Heh, true
WashuWorshipper: I'm thinking thats going to be the secret ID episode, as the amnesia strikes while at least part of the team is off duty
WashuWorshipper: ( OTOH, we both might be overestimating the intelligence of the average TV viewer. . . or promotions exec )

JackApostrophe: Sorry, I'm just thinking about how awesome the end of "In Darkest Night" is
JackApostrophe: Ahhhhhhhhhh
WashuWorshipper: Heh
WashuWorshipper: I wasn't a big fan of that ep
WashuWorshipper: OTOH, it was still better than Secret Origins
JackApostrophe: The rest of the episode was okay, not great
JackApostrophe: But the ending.... *sigh*
WashuWorshipper: Then again, I think *any* giant battle, space air or ground, can be made better by using the Fourth World, so. . .
JackApostrophe: Bah, the battle was irrelevant
JackApostrophe: It's the scene with the oath. The oath!
WashuWorshipper: <--not a huge GL fan
JackApostrophe: Infidel!
JackApostrophe: I shall rend your bones!
WashuWorshipper: :-D
WashuWorshipper: Besides, everybody knows Hawkgirl could take out the entire GLC with her Mighty Mace.
JackApostrophe: You will regret those words
WashuWorshipper: :-D:-D:-D
WashuWorshipper: In any case, any other story ideas??
WashuWorshipper: Gotta be at least one "travel to the future" ep
JackApostrophe: Well there should be a bunch of set piece villain stories
WashuWorshipper: Yeah. Any good villain choices??
WashuWorshipper: Maybe Klarion the Witchboy??
JackApostrophe: Deathstroke, as a homage to the Teen Titans? (since in the parallel universe where this series exists there is no TT series)
WashuWorshipper: Good idea. Who hired him, though??
JackApostrophe: Harm would be pretty good. Could get rid of the Secret backstory though
WashuWorshipper: Could set up HIVE as a villain group they foil, and gain the enmity of. . .
JackApostrophe: Yeah
WashuWorshipper: Unless you want to bring Secret in, that is. I'm mixed on that
JackApostrophe: Secret is great, but I don't think so
WashuWorshipper: We've got the Wonder Girl story already, obviously
JackApostrophe: I mean I like Secret, but I don't want to bring her in
JackApostrophe: Could do with another male member to replace Secret - to keep the gender balance, umm, balanced
WashuWorshipper: True
WashuWorshipper: The Ray??
JackApostrophe: Maybe. Visually he's very awesome, and he'd be like this Arrowette - the son of one of the previous generation's heroes
JackApostrophe: The more I think the better he becomes actually
WashuWorshipper: Heh
WashuWorshipper: Hmm, would some interaction with a bunch of the younger New Gods be too gratuitous??
JackApostrophe: An episode (with the possibility of more in later seasons) would be good, and would work if we gave YJ the Supercycle
WashuWorshipper: Yep
WashuWorshipper: Maybe as a reward for saving a bunch of the kids from some imminent disaster while they are on a field trip of sorts
JackApostrophe: (y)
WashuWorshipper: ( after all, it seems that the JL have access to a Mother Box. . . )
WashuWorshipper: ???
JackApostrophe: Was that not a thumbs up for you?
WashuWorshipper: Nope
WashuWorshipper: It was a (y)
JackApostrophe: The series should start with a two parter about Impulse's arrival and the formation of the team... Then there should be two parters introducing the other members - one each
JackApostrophe: Actually it should probably start with a four parter like JL
WashuWorshipper: With perhaps one or two single episode villain of the week set pieces in between the new member arrivals
JackApostrophe: Yeah
WashuWorshipper: That would almost carry you to the season finale, so maybe have YJ somehow save the JL, perhaps from a carefully arranged plot by HIVE??
WashuWorshipper: Which they disrupt because they weren't accounted for properly
JackApostrophe: Indeed
JackApostrophe: brb
JackApostrophe has left the room.
Saionji Kira has entered the room.
WashuWorshipper: Hello
Saionji Kira: Hi.
WashuWorshipper: Dang, Jack's still not back yet. . .
WashuWorshipper: We were discussing how one could do a Young Justice: TAS
Saionji Kira: Oh I see.
WashuWorshipper: I'll be posting the chat transcript later, so you can read our results
WashuWorshipper: Basically, neither of us have much confidence in the upcoming Teen Titans TAS
Saionji Kira: Why's that?
WashuWorshipper: Because they seem to be discarding everything that made the Wolfman/Perex Titans good
WashuWorshipper: And replacing it with all the worst elements of Young Justice
Saionji Kira: I see. *shrugs* I've never really read either...
WashuWorshipper: Well, lets see: Starfire, in the comics, arrived on Earth after escaping from slavery ( and implied concubinage ) which she was sold into by her sister, IIRC.
WashuWorshipper: Given that they seem to have cut her age significantly, I can guarantee this origin gets modified heavily
WashuWorshipper: Especially seeing as TT:TAS is aimed at a younger audience than JL
Saionji Kira: Makes sense.
WashuWorshipper: Yeah, but it also makes the usage of the Wolfman/Perez characters rather pointless
WashuWorshipper: What it gets down to is that they want a young kids show, while the Wolfman/Perez Titans wasn't a young kids comic
Saionji Kira: So what do you think they should have done?
WashuWorshipper: Created a Young Justice TAS :-D
WashuWorshipper: Especially since they wouldn't need to introduce as many new characters
JackApostrophe has entered the room.
WashuWorshipper: Welcome back
JackApostrophe: Hey
WashuWorshipper: I posted a thread about this, and am going to post this chat transcript there later. Any problems with that??
JackApostrophe: None
WashuWorshipper: Okay. Its easier than typing out our brainstorming
WashuWorshipper: Idea: They could still use Match, as a further attempt at a Superman clone created by Lexcorp
WashuWorshipper: This time, with a slower development circle to allow for greater stability
WashuWorshipper: Hmm, back to Arrowette and Ray, maybe some means of contrasting them??
JackApostrophe: If Cissie in this was adopted, she might have had the same problem with her mother as the regular DCU Arrowette
JackApostrophe: Less the superhero aspect, more the stage mother madness
WashuWorshipper: That would work.
WashuWorshipper: Whereas Ray was "protected" from his superheroic legacy, and once he finds out about it, is eager to take it up
JackApostrophe: My thoughts exactly
WashuWorshipper: Hmm, this might feed into a theme of legacy's in the show
WashuWorshipper: Giving an opportunity to see what superheroes predated Superman and Batman
Saionji Kira has left the room.
JackApostrophe: Heh
JackApostrophe: You realise we've missed the obvious candidate for a member, right?
WashuWorshipper: Who??
JackApostrophe: SSK
WashuWorshipper: Ah
WashuWorshipper: Hmm. . .
WashuWorshipper: For some reason, I'm disinclined to put her on the team
WashuWorshipper: I can't put my finger on why, though
JackApostrophe: Hopes for a JSA show?
WashuWorshipper: Not really
WashuWorshipper: I wouldn't be opposed to having her make a guest appearance, though
WashuWorshipper: Along with either STRIPE or Starman
JackApostrophe: Establish a legacy for her as well
WashuWorshipper: That would work
WashuWorshipper: Perhaps she and the others could be revealed as the guardians of Opal City??
WashuWorshipper: Which the YJ team visits for some reason or other
JackApostrophe: That could of course set up Starman as a possible JL member
WashuWorshipper: Or at least a guest star
JackApostrophe: Yeah
WashuWorshipper: Though I'm not sure how it would work, stylistically. . .
JackApostrophe: Put Starman somewhere between the Jack Knight and Ted Knight versions
WashuWorshipper: Not so much that Opal City et al wouldn't work real well in the Timm style, but whether you could put SSK and Starman in the same scene and not have them clash
WashuWorshipper: Hmm. . .
JackApostrophe: No mask, but more of an actual costume
WashuWorshipper: . . .doesn't sound right, but it may just be because I'm a big Jack Knight Starman fan
JackApostrophe: Heh
JackApostrophe: I really should read those issues of Starman Jess sent me.. Unfortunately not the whole series

I'd love for there to be a YJ series since I loved the comic book, but the chances of it ever happening are highly unlikely. I mean, in the comic world there is no more Young Justice, and Now there's TT, and It would take too much explaining to a viewer who knows nothing about comics. :(

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
