“Pixels” – the upcoming feature film based on the Patrick Jean short about characters and icons from 1980s video games attacking New York City and being fended off by video game experts – has finally been granted a release date season [next summer] in lieu of a specific date. This comes off last week’s news that Peter Dinklage [“Elf” and “Game of Thrones” amongst many others] has joined the cast – which also includes Josh Gad – of the film directed by Adam Sandler.
“Pixels” is currently scheduled to be released in Summer 2015.
