Will Ubisoft ever bring back Splinter Cell? If so, when?
Ubisoft has said in the past that the Splinter Cell franchise will return, and fans have been very eager to see the return of Sam Fisher, or even a new main character for the franchise if it meant getting the series back. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told GameSpot the following on the fate of the franchise:
“So I will disappoint you because I don’t have an answer to give you exactly, but each brand we have, and each character, we want them to live in the long-term, so one day you will see something, but I can’t give you more details.”
