The "Hey, CN Just Got Some Decent Merchandising" Thread

I guess I'll stick to YAH on the schedules, mainly because everyone is familiar with that name at this point.

It's been branded YAH for so long weather you want to consider it a "slogan" or "tagline", but it's become something of a brand or a commonlaw now, so to refer to it as anything else would be silly at this point. I remember when the WWF changed the name of Monday Night Raw to "WarZone" between 1997-1998, it was short and not many people remember, but they still referred to it as Raw as did it's fans, I see this as something similar to that. It's YAH, and until CN changes that then I will always refer to it as YAH.

Following the Secret Saturdays graphic novels will be a few chapter books based on episodes of the series. The art will be done by Scott Jeralds and Ethan Beavers. The first two chapter books will be novelizations of the episodes "The Venegance of Hibagon" and "The King of Kumari Kandam." Book (Vol.) 3 may or may not be a novelization of a future episode.

Ooh, LEGO Ben 10. Sounds interesting.

LEGO Ben 10 sets coming in 2010

A new LEGO theme has been announced for Spring 2010: Ben 10. I don't watch this show, but I thought I'd make a topic about it here. Not much is known, but it's been hinted at that they're similar to the Galidor action figures made by LEGO.

Samurai Jack, Code Lyoko, and Megas XLR sets would be awesome to happen as well, but alas, unlikely. Maybe TDI?

Oh, that sounds awesomely cool and also super sweet.

If it looks good, and if I have money at the time, I'll probably get it. I'd expect it to be based on Alien Force, but the original series would awesomeriffic.

Or the next one, apparently titled "Ben 10: Evolutions".

Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) and Hot Topic are partnering in an exclusive deal to feature two of the network's original series, Chowder and Flapjack, at the retailer's stores. Hot Topic will offer products from Now and Zen (apparel such as - junior t-shirts and fashion tops) and Loungefly (accessories totes, key chains, buttons). Both Chowder and Flapjack will be highlighted at Hot Topic stores nationwide as well as on HotTopic .com.

Nice to see both shows getting more exposure.

This doesn't tie in to any of their shows, but:

Turner Sports and The PGA of America reupped their broadcasting and interactive media deals involving the PGA Championship, PGA Grand Slam of Golf and PGA.com through 2019. The agreement also expands to include a licensing deal through Turner's Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), becoming the PGA's licensing agent to the youth market. The two entities will also work together on additional new media and consumer marketing campaigns to bolster awareness and brand recognition of The PGA of America to key audiences, especially, introducing new, younger audiences to the game.

Interesting move. Maybe we'll get Tiger Woods: The Animated Series.:p

2019!? Woah. At this rate, we'll probably see golf matches on CN. :/

I really wouldn't be surprised to see McDonalds have a TDA Happy Meal promo around the time the season finale airs. Chef Hatchet Action Figure FTW

CN's so weird when it comes to merchandise. As in like... it doesn't exist, except for a few t-shirts.
It seems the only things they have merchandise for are toys for Ben 10 and Star Wars, and that's it. C'mon guys, I want some Chowder plushies!

Come on, CN! Where's the Total Drama merchandise?!

I think the Total Drama series is the only show left without any action figures plushies or shirts, even though they announced that they would do said merchandising a month ago!

Do I have to wait until I go back to school?

And yes, I know there's a DVD for the first season coming soon, but come on, already!

I believe the first wave of “The Secret Saturdays” action figures are out, or at the very least, they’ll be out soon. There is a video on You Tube where some guy shows off the first wave. There is also this "Cryptipedia" thing. He’s going to upload a video about the claw next.

Wow those action figures actually look decent, makes me want to buy them. As for the Cryptipedia, if I was like 10-12 years younger, I would be over that thing.

I Pretty Much gave up on cn having merchindise as a child..I mean As a kid I really wanted a Toonami T-shirt & a TOM Plushie, but sadly as far as I know neither came to be, and my search for the Fabled:Toonami Deep Space Bass CD have always ended up fruitless.:radda:

nowadays the only thing I would like to see in stores would be a hat with either the CN or AS logos & Mabye a moonaknights T-shirt.

Dude, I got my copy of the Deep Space Bass CD from Amazon a few years ago. Try checking there.

He's got the video for the claw and sword up. That guy is just awesome; I cracked up when he used the claw to “capture” Sailor Moon. Unfortunately, I’m disheartened to see that Drew Saturday isn’t even referenced on the fire sword; instead, the box has Zak holding it, when it’s not even his weapon…

hmm.....I may just do that.:anime:

Speaking of merchindise, will there ever be a Physical copy of the FusionFall manga. I mean its not really gold star material, but how could i pass up somthing that combines anime & cartoon Cartoons!

Well, looks like there probably won't be any Drew Saturday action figures if that is the case. Shame if it's true. But then again Mattel did the same thing Avatar by not making a Toph or Katara toy as well.

But yeah that Claw in action was funny, especially catching Sailor Moon and Selena Gomez. Looks like he'll do another video on the sword since he only touched on it a few times in the video.

If they ever did a TDA Happy Meal, a Chef Hatchet action figure with a swinging arm that's holding a butcher's knife is a MUST.

Okay hear me out, Isn't it kind of crazy how CN never thought about doing a Kids Next Door x Teen Titans OG crossover back in the 2000s? There's five members of Sector V, five titans, and they both have super cool HQs. I'm telling you guys, a TT and KND crossover would've been so epic!
Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
