A few months ago, I spoke to Steve Patrick about reviving Tickle U back as a preschool channel. Here's what he said:

"Thanks for your note, Justin. We had fun working on it. Did you know the voice of Pipoca was Ariel Winter from Modern Family when she was just a little girl? Time flies.

I no longer work for CN, but the next time I see Christina I'll pass along your suggestion.

Have a great day, and thanks for remembering."

It's been 10 years since Tickle U was cancelled, but I hope this will convince CN to air more preschool shows.

What's Tickle U?

Tickle U was a preschool block on Cartoon Network.

It usually airs around early school time, almost similar to Nick jr. for when they air the block around 8am to exactly 1pm.

I don't think CN does not want to do Tickle-U again.

I don't much for a reason it would be revived, I don't think CN would have many preschool shows either.

There's no reason why they should revive it. It was a failure from the start. The potential shows (including the block itself) will be treated badly and will be replaced by Teen Tightwads Go after a week. Not to mention most of the shows from the previous block are on other networks now (Peppa Pig is now on Nick Jr. while Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs now airs on Qubo).

Since Tickle U was a failure, I don't see why they would want to bring it back. Plus with Nick Jr, Disney Jr, and PBS Kids the preschool market was pretty much covered.

No more revivals, please. Especially since they're not helping CN all that much (unless your name is Samurai Jack, thank you very much.).

It didn't do well back then and didn't last long. HOWEVER, I do think it is worth considering bringing back under a different name with different shows and it could even possibly do better on Boom than on CN.

Cartoon Network already pulls in preschoolers with Teen Titans Go!

If they would make a revival, I think they should put TTG there.

This is a block, not a show though.

Reviving blocks is different. Would love them to revive Cartoon Planet again for the network's 25th anniversary.

Cartoon Planet won't return 99%. Voice actor dead and networks hardly repeat (certain) things.

I don't think this is a good idea at all. Cartoon Network has a lot of competition from PBS Kids, Nick Jr, and Disney Junor for preschool programming.

Programming blocks are usually made with advertising dollars in mind. The dollars might be significant enough to justify the effort.

I've stated this before: the Tickle U brand has been long abandoned and pre-school programming is not Cartoon Network's niche.

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
