Sure, the movies weren't all great, but some of the songs were. I'm personally grateful for "As Long as There's Christmas" from BatB: TEC, and "Where Do I Go From Here" from Pocahontas II. Aladdin III's "Out of Thin Air" is also a nice tune.

What are your favs?

Mine is "You're Only Second Rate" from The Return of Jafar. Why? Two words. Granny Jafar! ("Abracadabra! Granny's gonna grab ya!").:p

Besides that, it's really catchy to me for some reason and showed how much off the deep end Jafar had jumped since becoming a genie (from non-omniscient to omniscient being). I find myself humming it now and then.

Also, "There's a Party here in Agrabah" is another of my favorites from Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

Yeah, I've been watching a bit of Aladdin lately. >.>

All the songs from The Lion King II:

"He Lives in You"
"We are One"
"Upendi"
"Deception"

Can't think of anything else right now.

"Party in Agrabah" is pretty good, I agree. "Second Rate" though...was really ugh.

So many of these cheapquel songs were done in that kinda jazzy-showtunes way...and they came off sounding stupid. There's one in Little Mermaid III, Aladdin III ("In or Out")...

I love Reba singing "Good Doggie, No Bone" in The Fox and the Hound II.

"Welcome to the 40 thieves." That was my favorite song in Aladdin 3. I love swing and rhythm.

I like "One of Us" and "Love Will Find A Way" from the Lion King 2....I like the lyrics for the former, and I always enjoy a good love song, for the latter...

I also like "Out of Thin Air" from Aladdin and the King of Thieves and "Like Other Girls" from Mulan 2....I like the lyrics of both...

I liked the song that Genie sang in Return of Jafar. I don't know its name.

"Nothing in the World". Yeah, that's one of my favorites, too.

It's also the one song that didn't make it to the King of Thieves/Return of Jafar soundtrack back in '96, interestingly.

^hmm.. I wonder if it had to with Dan Castella(sp?) doing the voice? not sure..

I always thought Return of Jafar was really more of an Iago movie than either about Aladdin or the Genie..

though I do like the jazz score version of 2nd rate that's in the end credits.. pretty cool..

o.k fave song by movie..

Return of Jafar..
Looking out for me /Forget about Love (though I wish the aladdin/jasmine part was longer)

Aladdin and Cassim(Kothieves)
Party in Agrabah.. sure it might be a weaker version of Prince Ali style... but it felt really grand to hear Robin Williams again..

Belle's enchanted Christmas..
Stories.. it just rocked.. I kinda wished it had been in the first movie.. also wish ther was sheet music for it..

Pocahontas II
Where Do I go from Here.. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to that song..

but man , I hate between 2 worlds.. Billy Zane's voice does not blend with Kuhns.. when he's soloing it sounds nice..

Simba's Pride..
My Lullaby.. probably one of the creepiest songs ever.. it's like the Anti Baby mine song.. and just how can Kovu sleep throught that.. ear plugs?

Return to the Sea..
For A Moment.. without Melody giggling..:p

Hunchback II..
Ordinary Miracle kind of an extended version of Heaven's light... though a little more blaring.. wish they cut the stuck on you.. one :p

TLK 1 1/2
Jungle Boogie.. I know it's not an original song.. but man I just love it.. was too crazy abou the animated sequence that wen't along with it..

Mulan II
Like other Girls.. kind of a teen version of Reflection..

Stitch's Glitch..
Always.. Man, I wish there was sheet music for this song..

Stitch! the Movie..
Aloha E Komo Mai.. Stitch lines are hilarious in this one..

Brother Bear II..
I always tear up during the It Will Be Me song.. I hate the movie though..

and I Remember from Ariel's Beginning..I think any musician or Disney fan would know why that's a great song..;)

Lion King 2:

He Lives in You- It felt like a beautiful opening for the sequel. Not quite as beautiful as Circle of Life, but it still felt like a good way to open up the sequel.

We Are One- I loved how this emphasized the connection between all kinds of life and family.

Love Will Find a Way- A wonderful song that captured the romantic feel of the movie.

Pocahontas II:

Where Do I go from Here- Despite being one of my least favorite sequels, this song did really capture the confusion that Pocahontas was going through that can match how many people feel at one point or another in their lives.

Aladdin and the King of Thieves:

Party in Agrabah- I always thought that it was a fun and catchy kind of song to start off the movie.

Out of Thin Air- I love how this song is sang and how it captures Aladdin's fears of the future and how he felt in the past without his father.

It's also the one song that didn't make it to the King of Thieves/Return of Jafar soundtrack back in '96, interestingly.

Yeah, that annoyed me to no end. The closest we've gotten to a release was a rendition by the Cincinnati Pops for their CD "Magical Musicals".

Really? Never heard of that.

My guess is that song was left off the CD because it wasn't sung by Robin Williams.

"That's My Lullaby" - Zira's bloodthirst anecdote. Pure Epic.

"He Lives in You" - Nice follow up to the Cirle of Life

"You're Only Second Rate..." - I'm fond of Villain songs.

All I can think of at the moment.

Simba's Pride:

"He Lives in You"

"We are One""My Lullaby"

"Love Will Find a Way"

Stitch Has A Glitch:

"Always" (I wish they had both versions of the song on the soundtrack-I love the Hayley Westenra version that was played in the movie and was very disappointed it was not on the cd...it's so beautiful and sad)

Hayley did the one where Stitch is dyiing? wow, that's cool.. she's so awesome.. I wish it was on the C.D too.. I also wish the song's from the other stitch movies were on a C.D also

"He Lives In You" - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
"One Of Us" - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
"World Without Fences" - Lady and the Tramp 2
"First Sign of Spring" - Bambi II
"Good Doggie, No Bone" - The Fox and the Hound 2

Out of the five listed, "He Lives In You" is my favorite by far.

I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.

MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!
