I'm glad I'm not the only one whose keeping his fingers on the pulse of Michiko & Hatchin's US release. Ever since 2007 when it first premiered in Japan, I ALWAYS thought it was perfect for [adult swim] Action. It is truly more or less the spiritual successor to Bebop and Champloo, as Sayo Yamamoto in my opinion is Watanabe's protegee in a way. Added, Watanabe is the music producer for M&H, so there's that too. I would say Williams Street is ignorantly stupid if they don't pick this up, even if it's a bit of their range. I KNOW they want it. Like Mac said, it's not if, but when.

Pretty sure this means that in addition to the Inuyasha episodes (which is kinda odd to air but whatever), they'll be announcing what's replacing Sins on Saturday(guess this means stalking their schedule was pointless...)!

The fact that Inuyasha is airing during the extra time would almost make me think Final Act is the replacement, but with the DVD/BD release literally coming out in the exact same month, it would make no sense whatsover on AS's part since they'd be losing a good chunk of viewers. Guess we'll see though.

Interesting, they got the first two episodes of Inuyasha.
Even if it is reruns, it's cool seeing another Viz show on Toonami.
Guess they weren't lying when they said Neon Alley wouldn't affect Viz shows showing up on Toonami (again, even if it is two rerun episodes).

I could definitely see them promoting Final Act while airing Inuyasha, especially when they're just airing the first two episodes of the first series. I don't know how interested I'll be in checking Final Act out if that is what's going to replace Casshern Sins when I didn't see much of Inuyasha, but I might watch it just for the heck of it.

The last two episodes would serve as a better bridge to The Final Act.

Well...yes and no about that. The first two episodes can at least give a new viewer some better idea on the concept of the show more than flipping into a confusing area of the last two episodes of the original series. Of course one could say that everybody has already seen Inuyasha, but that's not really fair to speculate for those who really have not. I'm sure Toonami will make some sort of promo to catch people up if Final Act really does air soon.

I can kind of understand that, especially when Final Act picks up where the first series left off, but considering that Inuyasha hasn't aired for quite awhile and not everyone has seen it, jumping right into the last two episodes of a series might be a bit too confusing for people unfamiliar with the series. At least with the first two episodes, they'll get a better idea of the basic premise of the series so it might be easier for people like that to get into Final Act if they do plan on airing it the following week.

I think it would be smart of them to put Inuyasha: The Final Act before Samurai 7 if that is really the new show, which I kinda hope it is, even though I haven't watched Inuyasha. It'd make sense for them to get it since they've aired the first series on Adult Swim and it would be good not to wait too long with it.

I think it's gonna hurt Final Act more than it's gonna help Samurai 7 or anything else for that matter honestly. Samurai 7 would probably get about the same amount of viewers coming after Bleach as it it would coming after Final Act.

It's going to be revealed during the DST broadcast. We won't know yet until next week.
