What would be considered a success for Naruto uncut as far as ratings? I mean, I know they're not expecting the old ratings whatever they were, 2.0 or higher Im assuming, but when it airs in its time slot,whats considered a success? Like higher than a million I'm assuming?

All I know was that the rating average was over a million. I would say their expectations are somewhere between 900,000-1,000,000 on average.

According to Toonami's Tumblr page, Cowboy Bebop will be going back to episodes 11 and 12 this week, which were the episodes that were supposed to air when they accidentally skipped ahead.

It looks like Naruto won't be doubled up anytime soon, because it costs money per airing. If they decided to play Naruto two times a night, then they'd have to pay twice the amount. Also, Sym-Bionic Titan wasn't supposed to skip episodes. Apparently, they even talked to the programming department about not skipping episodes, but it skipped anyways. It seems that there was a miscommunication between them.

I foresee them switching Tenchi and Samurai 7 if things don't pan out again ratings-wise in the next couple of weeks.

And yeah... I'm really not digging this version of Tenchi either.

I'm really not happy with that part of the schedule change either. Having a more comedic show after the Bleach and Naruto hour wouldn't be so bad if GXP was actually funny or interesting for that matter, but as it is, it's just a poor decision in my opinion. At least Samurai 7 had pretty decent ratings for awhile prior to the schedule change, so keeping up with the action series after Naruto to help keep more people watching the block would make more sense. Hopefully, they can switch them around if GXP doesn't do well.

May not be a bad idea if they let one show go and not acquire another. I agree though with Light Lucario that an early 1-hour is a bit much, for now anyway. I always thought contracts were made for periods of time, then network could air that as much as possible until that contract nears expiration. There's much I clearly much I don't know about. Good thing they're ad-supported. For example aside from Toonami, Must be fun to pay 'per' Family Guy episode.

I wonder what they plan is when they get back to #20 "Pierrot le Fou" -- which was the first one to air in a fresh hour when the airing mis-order took place. Do they just let it continue or go back to Episode 1? At this point, might just be best to go through the series and start over and hope that another accident wont happen.

What Toonami is planning to do is air "Lessons in Love" this weekend, and air "Tashy 497" next weekend. Afterwards, they'll go straight into "The Ballad of Scary Mary", which is actually episode 14. They'll be airing the rest of the series in the order that Cartoon Network aired it in.

That's disappointing. I thought that Samurai 7 was doing pretty well all things considered before the time slot change. It was definitely doing better than Casshern Sins did for the most part, so I think this is kind of weird. I do hope that they put it back to their 1AM slot. It makes much more sense to keep it there instead of pushing it back to 2AM so GXP could get that slot.

I seriously hope that's true. GXP hasn't been doing that well, especially when it seems to turn people away from the block if last week's ratings are any indication, and it's a really terrible show in my opinion. I kind of wish that Samurai 7 was at 1AM instead of Thundercats, but at least that makes much more sense than putting it at 2AM. Plus, Thundercats has actually done pretty well in ratings, so it makes sense to put it at an earlier timeslot and hopefully Samuari 7 will be able to do well at a slightly earlier slot. Coming right after Thundercats might help it too. While I don't really like Eureka 7 that much either and it's only slightly above GXP for me, I'd much rather stay up to watch that series than to watch GXP. This is a much better schedule, so I hope that this is true.

Seems a bit of a rush switching the schedule after just one week. I'm not a GXP fan but it seems off giving it the short shift after so little time. That's worse than a Moribito time slot.

Pushing GXP that late into the block makes a lot more sense than putting Samurai 7 at 2AM, especially when it has been doing worse than Samurai 7 with its ratings. It might be a bit early to put change its slot, but it makes sense given how poorly GXP has been doing and they probably can't wait too long for a show doing that poorly to gain more of a following, especially if they thought that being a Tenchi Muyo series would give GXP an edge.

I didn't think GHP would go over too well. The original Tenchi, Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo were tough acts to follow.

Oh grand, Tenchi GXP comes on right around the time I go to bed.
But yeah, that show kinda wasn't doing it for me, and again, this is coming from someone who loves the Tenchi franchise.

To be fair, though, the rest of the episodes after episode one weren't as bad, but episode one was horrible.
Actually had someone who loves the show yell at me on Twitter for complaining about the first episode so much.

But anyway, I'm really happy to see Adult Swim doing something about this, because I was getting really worried about the ratings there for a bit.
Also, happy to see Eureka Seven move up a half-hour.
