Sinclair To Launch 'KidsClick' Multiplatform Programming Block For Children

Wow, I saw some Mecard toys just a few days ago. I guess they were able to secure a TV deal. Heck, I'll check it out.

Whoa, we're getting Mecard on TV, and on KidsClick of all places? Surprising and awesome! The Legendaries sounds like a cool show too.

also, with all these French cartoons we better see MBC

Well I guess there goes Disney XD's chance at getting Mecard. A nice pick up though , I'll record it this Saturday. The Legendaries sounds interesting too. Looks like they were saving the fun for the summer.

Seems like they definitely have a partnership with Mattel (Max Steel, Mecard, Team Hot Wheels) and maybe Legadere Distribution (Scary Larry, The Legendaries).

I'm just going to explain why some of my posts have seemingly been off-topic for a moment.
I've just been reporting what I see on the only Tribune (they're subject of that repeatedly stonewalled Sinclair buyout) station in my area (KTXL-TV), It relates since I focus on This (40.3) and TBD (40.4). As they both carry KidsClick, there's some redundancy. Especially since reception of both of those requires KTXL-TV to be received to get the block at all. On the other hand they both have different aspect ratios (This is in 4:3, while TBD is in 16:9)

Speaking of TBD, there had been some problems with the Kidsclick's audio over random days of the past weeks (The audio would keep cutting in and out in half-second intrevals and remain like that for several minutes, This doesn't have that issue). Is that a common occurrence with merely my local TBD affiliate, or is it a network-wide issue? Sacramento's TBD seems to show their legal ID on the 30th minute every hour, but not during KidsClick for whatever reason.

Here's the updated June schedule. Super 4 & Dinosaur King switch timeslots, Mecard and Legendaries premiere.

Welp, two runs of Pink Panther & Pals are gone, so that's a plus. Still a stretch to have it run every day. The schedule becoming diverse again is applause-worthy, but it looks like that might be too much "Ladybug", unless the block have series 2 already. As for "Rocket Monkeys", methinks that They're just gonna repeat Series 2 of "Rocket Monkeys" again though, unless Sinclair has Series 1.

Nope, KidsClick will start to show Season 3 of Rocket Monkeys next week.

Studiopolis produced the dub as a 22-minute show, which was later split for YouTube. KidsClick should be airing the 22-minute version.

Trust me when I say you really don't want the Hong Kong dub.

No doubt, they'll be airing the half-hour version, but that's not the problem.

I'll bet the version airing in Canada probably doesn't have dialogue where there originally wasn't any in the Korean version (I watched a bit of the Studiopolis version of [part one of] the first episode). I'll bet it also keeps the original names, including the name "Mecanimal" (I believe the Studiopolis version calls them "Mechanicars", but I'm not sure; it doesn't use "Mecanimal" in any case).

I guess what I'm trying to say is, the version airing in Canada (which uses the original name, "Turning Mecard") is probably truer to the original version of the show, compared to the Studiopolis version.

Bizarrely, the Hong Kong dub does feature localized names. The main character is called Chan in Korea, but Jason everywhere else. There are a few other westernized name changes like that. Otherwise, it does appear to be very faithful to the original material. The cars are known as Mecanimals, whereas in the Studiopolis dub, they're Mecardimals. It should be stated, though, that a new version of the Hong Kong dub recently started airing in Singapore. It replaces a few of the voice actors and tries hard to swap out Mecanimal for Mecardimal.

It's my guess that Mattel went with Mecard over Turning Mecard to better control SEO and/or better position themselves to introduce Dino Mecard in the future. Depending on how that lawsuit with Spin Master turns out, they might be forced to bring that out faster than natural.

SEO? As in "search engine optimization"?
There's a reason why Microsoft had named the new XBox One model "Xbox One X".

Looks like the Oggy episodes will be from Season 1. This will be the first time Season 1 has aired in America since it aired on Fox Family Channel.
EDIT: added full list of episodes. Is KidsClick only airing one a day?

Last minute delay: The schedule change has been pushed back a week! Mecard, Legendaries and the rest of the weekend schedule will launch 6/16. Weekday schedule, including Oggy premiere, will launch 6/19.

Right now This TV's schedule has the old information, but it'll be changed within the next day or two.

It wouldn't be KidsClick without a last minute goof.

If you search "Turning Mecard" on Google you get hits from the Korean and Canadian release. You search "Mecard" you get Mattel's American stuff.

I take it this is delay has to do with the graphics not being ready?

Ha ! Yesterday my cable guide didn't update the info to have the shows , Today it partially did , guess they have to fix it again.

Well, looks like Mattel might have the licenses of their shows now that I see Turning Mecard is on the new lineup on the weekends.

Your guess is as good as mine on this one. This block goes through lots of last minute changes.

The weekend promos were referencing the current lineup, along with the weekday promos referencing the current lineup saying that they weren't ready this week at all.

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
