"Stu Go" News And Discussion Thread

Personnel I think when they got to the island, Dr. Lullah cloned Sara. That is my theory at least.

We're now close to what may be the halfway point for S1 of this show - and here's hoping there's a S2, becuase despite early misgivings, this show has proven itself to be High Tier, so far.

Even if it isn't like that sizzle reel, where it felt like more of an actual action/adventure joint with some good (enough) comedy thrown in for balance, at least I can safely say this show succeeds because of how funny & sometimes scary it is - the only thing missing is a little more action to it, because it Otherwise does feel like an adventure, even if not all the time. Again, being actually funny is this show's real strong point, if you asked me personally.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've been pleasantly surprised by StuGo. It's actually genuinely funny at times. It and Kiff are the highlight of my Saturday.

So the latest episode, they did a Rick and Morty with the channel surfing episode.

It seemed like they were going to make a Season 2, but according to some crewmembers they're out of a job again so they might've changed their minds.

In Pea-Brained Mutant Crystal Nuptials, there is no kids.
That's another thing I love about this show, there's nobody that appears in every episode (as some episodes have only have a couple of the kids, and a good amount of episodes don't have Lullah, Okay or the mutants).

It really makes the show feel balanced and not that it favors any character in particular.

Well, the show is over. The last episodes aired today.
I can't believe how fast Disney burned through the show (even single-season shows don't run this quickly in Disney's case). It feels like I only started watching it last week.
It's ironic that the show was meant to take place during the Summer, and it's already over before Summer even began.

Any word on when (or if) it’s coming to Disney +? I watched the first episode and thought it was alright but since I don’t have cable it’s not like I could watch anymore.

It's not on Disney+ yet? I'm surprised. I thought everything that airs on Disney Channel just goes to Plus right away.

Right now it's not yet known, they've only said summer time. Most of the episodes except 2, everything else including the last episode that aired today are free to view on Disney Now's site without the sign in Watch StuGo TV Show | Disney XD on DisneyNOW

They've been kind of messy. Primos was the last show so far that had the bad system or releasing episodes before airing on the channel. Now it seems they are going TV first then wait a while to release on plus , Kiff, for example, doesn't have it's 2nd season on Disney Plus yet. They refuse , so far, to just do TV channel first , next on day Disney Plus.

I understand why the kids put up with Dr. Lullah. They have no choice. They're stranded on her island all Summer, but why do the mutants put up with her?

06/09:
Minor but StuGo will be featured in season 4 of Chibiverse, according to the press release.

ORIGINAL SHORTS:

“CHIBIVERSE” (Season Four) (Disney+ and Disney Channel)
Produced by: Disney Television Animation for Disney Branded Television
Executive Producer: Gino Guzzardo
Co-Executive Producer: Dan Siegel

When cartoon scientists mash up Disney stories in a secret lab, the result is the “Chibiverse” — a strange new planet where favorite characters from across Disney Branded Television and Disney Television Animation series team up for wild adventures. Each seven-minute episode brings together “chibi” versions of beloved characters from “Phineas and Ferb,” “Big City Greens,” “The Owl House,” “Kiff,” “Kim Possible,” “StuGo,” and more, as they explore new locations, play silly games, and battle cartoony villains — often in surprising cross-series combinations.

06/16:
StuGo will be added to Disney+ on July 30th.

It was supposed to go up in the Spring.

This late July release feels more like an unceremonious dump to fulfill a contractual obligagtion.

The Disney Channel to Disney Plus streaming has been a mess.
The had Hamster and Gretel go have episodes first on Plus then air on DC (which was their typical way , Primos did this too, not a fan) Phineas and Ferb also did the premiere on TV then have rest of the episodes stream then air those weekly on TV.

Big City Greens has been airing episodes first on TV then they end up on streaming later, Kiff is doing that too.

Still refusing to do next day on Plus.

To add on to the weirdness, non-special episodes of BCG are usually put on demand a couple hours before they premiere (roughly 1am EST), something that doesn't really happen with their other shows.

Going offline until further notice. David Ellison has won. I’m seeking therapy permanently rather than quitting life. Take care everyone. Once I leave the world into the void, I hope my life is better.
Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
