The live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas adaption from 2000 starring James Eugene Carrey has been announced to have a sequel in the works.

It's being developed by Universal Studios and Imagine Entertainment, with Ronald William Howard returning to direct (and produce), and Jim Carey to reprise his role as The Grinch.

Brian Thomas Grazer (who cofounded Imagine Entertainment with Ron Howard) is also producing, and the script is being written by Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel, who all worked on the live-action The Cat in the Hat adaption from 2003.

Um... What? I thought the rights to future Seuss adaptations are handled by WB now and not Universal.

I guess future versions of their past adaptions are exempt from this.

Funny you bring this up 'cuz look at this:

Pretty funny that 2 Grinch sequel projects were announced on the same day (it's a good marketing tactic if intentional, and a well timed coincedence if it wasn't).

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
