    "Batman Returns" deleted scenes?

I've never posted here before, but I have a question that doesn't belong anywhere else. Were there any deleted scenes from "Batman Returns", and what might they have been? If I remember correctly there wasn't any mention of deleted scenes when the special edition DVD was released.

The Little Mermaid coming to Platinum series DVD

The problem is, with "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King" (I can't speak for "Pocahontas" because I don't own it), the "original" versions are basically the "new and improved" versions without the extra scenes. The opening sequences, for example, are different on both films from their...

This blaming thing of of FOP has got to stop Now!

By the way, with all these comparisons of Butch Hartman to Matt Groening, has there been an interview where Mr. Hartman has actually said he's trying to be the next Groening? I honestly don't see the connection. "The Simpsons" is geared towards adults, and FOP and DP are geared towards the young.

    Favourite animated sequence?

My favorites are two from Dumbo. The "Elephants on Parade" number goes without saying, but the "Happy-Hearted Roustabouts" scene in the rain and lightning is in my opinion very underated.

The first Ultimate Enemy promo has aired

Does anyone know how long this will be? I mean, "Reign Storm" was more of an extended episode at only one hour, so could this be longer?

    Could they pull this off?

Since "Fairly Oddparents" got a musical production, does anyone think that Butch Hartman could do one for Danny Phantom? I realize that DP is a different type of show, but it might work if done right, maybe with a plot using Ember or something. Besides, is anyone else wondering if Daniel...

Danny Phantom Reign Storm talback (Spoilers)

I agree with everyone here, it was GREAT! I loved how they brought all the old villains back, even Poindexter (did you notice however, that Walker had no lines throughout the whole show?). As far as the whole Fenton=Phantom thing, my view is, most people in Amity Park wouldn't know Danny, let...

Danny Phantom Pirate radio talkback (spoilers).

I thought this was a decent episode. The return of a great villaness, and a plot that involved everyone in a pivotal role. I wonder though, while Danny and everyone else were fighting the pirates, what might Sam and Kwan have been talking about in the ob-center (SIC?)? On another note, does...

Best Disney Villain in An Animated Feature Film

I just want to agree with those who say Jafar is one of the best. In my opinion, he has one of the best evil laughs I've ever heard. Watch the end of his rendition of "Prince Ali" when he sends Aladdin off in the tower, and then cackles like a psychopath. Terrific!

    Animated Shorts before Movies?

The thing is, Disney doesn't need to spend the money trying to make NEW cartoon shorts when they have their whole classic library to choose from. I mean, who wouldn't want to see films like "Hockey Homicide" or "Symphony Hour" on the big screen?

    DP, "Lucky in Love", talkback

Two things I liked about this episode were that how they seemed to let Paulina find out about Danny's powers without her actually finding out at all! Secondly, I loved that montage showing Danny and Paulina, then Kwan, Sam, and Tucker all frolicking in the field! That was hilarious! Plus, this...

New Danny Phantom episode: "Public Enemies" (spoilers).

I loved this episode too. Not only in terms of character development, but in the animation as well. I loved the look on Danny's face right after Walker is dispatched (for now) as we pull back to see Maddy with that huge bazooka pointed right at his head! By the way, has anyone else been...

    Preview Screencaps for Bambi Sequel

I guess no one knows what the storyline is yet, but it seems to me that since there apparently was a sequel to the book the original is based on, that gives Disney some solid source material. But if they're winging it, I agree that it doesn't look good, despite that wonderful artwork.

    Disney music that you love

Most of my favorite music is from the classic Disney theatrical shorts, such as: The entire score to "Bone Trouble", but especially the opening and closing music The 1940-42 Mickey Mouse title music The entire score to "Mr. Duck Steps Out" The song "Der Furher's Face" from the Donald Duck...

    Disney/Pixar's "The Incredibles" Talkback (Spoilers)

I saw it Christmas eve and here's what I think: Wallace Shawn was Perfect as the Insuricare manager (favorite line: "They've PENETRATED the BUREAUCRACY!"), and the scene where the jet blows up while Violet was trying to make a forcefield inside had me bolt upright in my chair and my jaw wide...

Danny Phantom: You know what? This really is a quality show.

I didn't think much of it at first, but it's actually become something of a guilty pleasure for me. I also really hope they don't put Sam and Danny together either, as I think that would throw the show way off-kilter. What I like though are the throwaway gags, such as having as clothes store...

    Nicktoon team ups

I acutally thought a Danny/Fairly Oddparents teamup would be interesting, with some sort of connection between fairies and ghosts and Mr. Crocker teaming up with one of Danny's enemies or even his ghost-hunter parents! Maybe Danny and Timmy could each discover the other's secret but in the end...

What do you want from Disney?

What I want is for Disney to go back to what made it a household name in the first place. Was it a TV producer? No. A theme park conglomerate? No. It was a movie studio first and foremost and I for one would like to see more emphasis on making good motion pictures, whether live action or...

    Wave 4 Disney Treasures...

Well, marketing ploy or not, these sets are still miles ahead of any other studio. Besides, do you really think that Disney would...

    A Disney what-if

Take a look at this drawing of Jerry mouse...

I thought that there was at least one other cartoon besides "Springtime for Thomas" that featured a girl mouse. I don't know the title, but I think it was a cheater cartoon that used footage from the latter film. The girl mouse appeared at the end and had a sort of high pitched giggle.

    Tom and Jerry DVD Announcement

For the most part, the cartoons do have their original opening music (except two from 1943 that had the unique "Hold that Lion" opening). It's the original titles that are the problem, especially since even Jerry Beck himself has never seen one and been in time to save it. Unless he has one...

How to spot a Disney re-release hack job

That's interesting about "Donald's Ostrich", mac. Was the actual title card the same on each version?
