Liked the ep, especially Grodd. Everything else has been said. One comment, though: Grodd isn't only thinking of who he use against the JL, but also who is safe to bring onboard, and isn't going to either usurp him or try and kill their teammates.

Hawkgirl's mace probably is a creation of science. It was just created with magic in mind, from the time the Thanagarians kicked Cthulhu out. IOW, a parallel to what the ancient Atlanteans did.

Very good episode. Great execution of the classic mirror world plot. Vast quantities of consequences for future episodes.

Most of my thoughts have already been said. Overall, great episode. -Is it just me, or when Amazo became Golden Amazo, did he just mimick a *star*?? -Amazo is almost certainly going to appear again. Friend or foe, I know not, but simple force ain't gonna be enough to beat him.

Huntress would be pointless in a JL ep. Superboy would be rather redundant, IMHO, with Supergirl around. That Catwoman costume is terrible. And Doomsday would almost certainly not be done well, though its theoretically possible. Other than that, I like your ideas.

Well, to be fair, probably all the JL new of Darkseid, and at least a little of what happened. Its tough to not notice invasions, after all. OTOH, Batman is the most likely one to actually study up on and recall all the info about him and what he did ( aside from Superman, anyway ).

Ugh, let us not bring up Doomsday. He has this huge "Can only be defeated by Superman" character shield.

If superheroes had "victories" like that in Legacy more often, there wouldn't be many super heroes. By brainwashing Superman, Darkseid took away the worlds trust in him. By "losing" to Superman, he took away Superman's on trust that good wins in the end.

He moved War World, but IIRC, he had several temporary power-ups going at the time. On more than one other occasion, Superman needed help just to move the moon. In any case, Darkseid is usually portrayed as quite a good deal more durable than Supes, at least when not in a Superman comic.

I don't know about that. In any case, while animated characters are a question, the comic versions definitely would survive. Actually, Darkseid ( when he's not being massively jobbed ) probably wouldn't even feel a nuclear blast point blank.

Batman has probably the strongest no-killing code of the bunch. As for whether they should be willing to or not, I think that they should perhaps follow the lead of the Avengers: trying to minimize loss of life, but willing to kill if absolutely necessary. As for all those "bigger"...
