Alpha and Omega

It doesn't look theater worthy and it doesn't look like it's breaking new ground anywhere but it doesn't look like the worst thing in the world. I don't recall having to groan once throughout the trailer. I'll reserve my hate for something else (like Marmaduke for instance).

Just looks painfully to me like the next thing furries will latch onto. We should probably expect someone to join up here and ask disturbingly specific questions about it soon enough.

Dragonlance called, it wants its poor CGI Quality back.

Seriously, if this movie ever wants to be popular. Ditch India. In all honesty the Bionicle Movies (despite being DTV and made on a lower budget, which is why the films (sans Legend Reborn, and even then) have very little star power) looked and moved better then this shlock. Even Legends of Metru Nui did, and it had unfinished animation.

All the actors (Celebrety or Profesional) should be ashamed (except the unknowns and Hopper, but then he died).

Can I ask some disturbing questions about this movie? ;)

No, not really.

I sat through the trailer and it doesn't look terrible. Maybe give it a chance... maybe. We've just seen the formula before.

What surprises me about this is that the guy behind the Swan Princess is producing this.
I thought I was the only one who thought of this as a Balto knock-off.

not to mention Fox and the Hound and The Black Cauldron, the King and I, and Trumpet of the Swan..

none of those films were popular at the box office.. though I like Swan Princess an Fox a little bit

when the goose says "repopulate" (BTW, OMG he like looks like unlce boris form Balto ((best movie ever!!!) Humpfree face is KAWAII!! kekekeke Think he gonna do it in the movie? prolly not, but oto bad, it s just waht happens in nature not anything gross lol ^^b

w00t grrrrrrr RARW!!!

check out my balto/humpfee slash fic, k lol? just a joke, but acutllay did write one lol\

I actually think they've done a good job animating the characters, in all seriousness. I'm not jumping on the "mane/hair," but the expressions and environments look nice, especially the flood in the trailer. I think it'll be a throw away movie, not good but not terribly bad, that will create a fan following among all the fans of Balto. It'll most likely flop in theaters, with the same people going over and over– but only those people– and will have respectable DVD sales.

All that's missing in the hoodie sweatshirt and a pair of sunglasses.

Ha! I can imagine a movie like that: Watch the adventure of some cool Rapper Wolfs form the forest that wants to be superstars in the Big City.!!!

They're ugly... sorry, that's mean

They're not attractive. Yeah, that's it.

Dear Makers of This Movie,

Could you at least have hired one of the many, many, many, many furry/anthro artists with a decent grip on anatomy to do character design? And maybe take a stab at the story?

kthxbai.

Jeepers, I didn't realize this movie would inspire such hatred and sarcasm. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look like anything I'd be first in line for based on the trailers (I thought "eh" when the trailer finished), but it also doesn't look like an abomination.

Besides, for those criticizing the animation quality: Yeah, it doesn't look Pixar level, but we're not talking Ratatoing bad here. Heck, I thought it looked better than Hoodwinked, and that went to theaters as well.

Sorry to go off-topic but when we're getting that so-called Hoodwinked Too? I know Burger King had toys for promotion of the film earlier this year but so far, either it's been dropped from the 2010 schedule indefinitely or the film's never going to be seen in theaters. Going back to the topic at hand, that being the first of many posters for the film, the girl wolf's cute but I have to agree that the tagline has got to go.

Yeah, Ratatoing was horrid. This looks better then that yes, but I've seriously have seen better on Youtube.

I was just thinking that I've seen some deviantart stuff (non-intentionally) that looked better than this. Though to be honest, I seriously think that this is stealthily appealing to a certain demographic.

You know the one. :p

The thing is, even if it didn't look to be aiming for that group on some level, some of them would still be a wee bit too interested due to the use of stylised, talking animals.

Ignoring that, it does look fairly generic and done before with the story it's telling. But then I suppose every new generation gets such stories rehashed for it in some forum.

The female wolf doesn't look too bad. Her boyfriend... ugh.

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
