Got to be honest. Liked this movie better than DC's recent animated efforts.
As a Batman story, it was lacking. But I see this more as a Deadshot/Suicide Squad story packaged as a Batman story. Batman is a minor, tertiary character in this film.
It was dark and violent, but considering the subject matter, it made sense. These are villains who do the things the heroes do not. They are dark people and their minds go to dark places. Yes there were plot contrivances and things that didn't make sense, but overall I thought it worked. Deadshot was actually not this cool or competent in the Arkham games really. But I liked that he got to kind of be the bad butt here.
What bothered me about Justice League War is that you had the HEROES acting like the Suicide which I don't like. Here you have the Suicide Squad acting like the villains they are. And it makes sense.
