Honestly, i'm disappointed that Johnny Test is going to air on the block.. and to me, I feel it could've been better if they we're to return some of the shows like My Gym Partner's a Monkey, or even keeping The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy on the Weekdays and Cow & Chicken for the Weekends (in a way of their variety for either ways). But removing MAD, Annoying Orange, and Johnny Test from the block.

That's what Boomerang is for, or at least that what the channel should be for.

It's clear that Cartoon Network doesn't think of Best of CN (I refuse to call it Cartoon Planet, because it's not the real Cartoon Planet with Space Ghost) as a retro block anymore; the network is just using Best of CN to run encores now. Best of CN is basically Funny For Your Face with a different name.

The fact that this has survived past CN's 20th Anniversary still continues to amaze me. There has been literally no new bumpers for close to a year and ratings aren't so hot, yet somehow, it always sticks on the lineup.

It's an easy way to always have all the old shows they want to run on instead of choosing and changing between them Putting it on weekdays practically confirms this.

I much rather have Johnny Test on Planet rather than that Orange, but my problem with it is that they aren't airing the old episodes of the series, but I don't care much since I don't watch this block anymore. It's amazing that Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry are not airing in this block though.

My major problem with the block in a recent time.. is that they always get a show that's bad (like either by SMFA, The Problem Solverz, or Annoying Orange), or something that's not fitting (like ANA, and Scaredy Squirrel). And to me, it just doesn't feel right when the block is suppose to be for their known shows, or some that people don't remember (which is what Cartoon Planet was in a way). I don't mind something new to it.. just it needs to be something that people can like in a way, or being a show that's not recent.

If MAD we're to end off, then being on here.. I wouldn't mind it, hence I thought of the idea of it before! But made no sense on airing "JUST" airing it's latest episodes.. and not the previous ones that don't get any re-runs for an occassion. I would've liked the block more if they we're to expand on it's programming (hence it's on the weekdays now).. like airing back the 6 min episodes (from Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, Evil Con Carne, and even Dial M for Monkey. Plus a few forgotten shows that people would like (only being Mike, Lu & Og and Time Squad). Here's the list i've hope for the Cartoon Planet block someday (and to improve on).

There's the talk that Sheep in the Big City would require half-an-hour to play (and it would), but since CP is on 7 days a week, they could play it one day a week. There's only 26 episodes, so in half a year it'd be done and they could rest it again or give it a 2nd run. Perhaps air it between two 11-minute shorts just so it doesn't start or end the block, then it might still feel Cartoon Planety.

Got a clever name that could get some face palms... "Sheepy Saturdays/Sundays"

Great Idea HubTigers. That Could Definetly Work. With That Out Of The Way,Here's What I Would Want To Be On The Block.

First Off,I Think Scaredy Squirrel Could Work.Now Before You Go And Say "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Heres My Point:
Scaredy Squirrel Ended Quite Some Time Ago In canada,Just Not The Us.Canadian shows are ussaly 1 year ahead of the american airing.(if it airs in amerca).Sort Of Like Pogorikifan thinks MAD could air on the block,as long as they cancel it beforehand.Air the remaining episodes in the US,then after a couple months,bring it to the block.
Just Like Pogorikifan,I think they should bring some lesser known shows back to the block.Not something that even CN Junkies havent heard of(Fly Tales For Example).But a few examples:Time Squad,Mike Lu And Og,Whatever Happened To...Robot Jones?,Squirrel Boy.Also Air The dexter's lab and cow and chicken middle cartoons.I Know Dial M For Monkey and I Am Weasel Have aired on the block in the past,but they never aired much and are now removed.Robotomy could work in the block.

i still don't understand to this day on why they can't air sheep in the big city to CN CP Or Boom In USA while Boomrang in europe states has it what is it that so hard to bring sheep in big city, time squad, etc do they worry of the today kid generations wont get in much to these shows? i mean the shows over there nothing to do with ratings today now.

I'm not sure if anyone's aware of this, but I believe that they had some new skits on November 15th's lineup. One of them was Things That Annoy Zorak, and we also got a new Dating Tip and some more comedy jokes from Brak.

The could also air 22m fosters and Stuff like Class of 3000 or Megas XLR(IT COULD HAPPEN) to fill in the rest of the year.That Could Work.
