BLOCK TALKBACK - Cartoon Planet

Didn't CN drop the rights to Megas XLR a little while back?

But really this whole schedule as of late has been a complete headscratcher with Orange and Mad...you think that is a last attempt to bring people in to watch before they shoved them off the air entirely?

And I've noticed that they've been re running a few of the same episodes, that could be avoided entirely but nooooo...

And yes this is a broken record by now, we need more variety and hopefully CN will do something with the seven days a week biz because I would love some more episodes of Fosters and maybe even they could air two parter episodes like Dexter's Labs "Last But Not Beast" .

And of course Sheep in the Big City and Time Squad would just make my day if they finally let those two out again. And I wouldn't mind Robotomy and Robot Jones getting some love ether.

I wouldn't mind Robotomy and Robot Jones getting some love ether.

Cartoon Planet aired Robotomy for a brief period around February-March. They only ran about 4 shorts (in one instance the same short twice in a row) and that was it.

I had an idea.

Similar to the idea of having boomerang online that's been floating around the Retro:Classic Cartoons forum,
They could make CARTOON PLANET ONLINE.

You See,they would have cartoon network shows avalible to watch for free,with ads on them(so they still make money) and they would have a selection of cartoons on CP,Like Dexter's lab,Johnny Bravo,Cow and Chicken,Courage the Cowardly dog,The grim adventures of billy and mandy,Camp Lazlo!,My Gym Partner's a monkey,Chowder and The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack as well as cartoons NOT ON CP like,2 stupid dogs,What A Cartoon!,Mike,Lu and Og,Sheep In The Big City,Time Squad,Megas XLR,Space Ghost:Coast To Coast and Others.
You Would Sign In with your TV provider info just like you would on cartoonnetwork.com's full episode section.And of course,the skits would not be gone.There would be 1 skit attached to each episode.Each Week New Episodes would come of changing shows.AND they would have MAD,Annoying Orange,Gumball and Johnny Test.Why would anyone want that?Cause it pleases stuart snyder enough to actually make this website,AND you CHOOSE what you want to watch!You could even create your own shows!

So,what do you think of my idea?

Oh yeah.They would also have Robotomy,Problem Solverz,and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome on the website,the latter two to please stuart snyder enough to actually make this website,AND you CHOOSE what you want to watch!

I think this is a much better idea then watching cartoon planet on TV.

Not a bad idea, but I don't think Stu could care less about whether about what shows would go it whether anyone likes it or not. (Gumball would most definitely end up on your proposed block whether you want it or not.) (internet explorer won't let me add breaks!) That's great that they are finally adding half hour long episodes to the block! I hope this means they'll add more episodes of Foster's Home instead of showing "Seeing Red" for what feels like the 800th time!

Not inside Cartoon Planet itself, just thought to point out something I noticed moments ago...

http://affiliate.zap2it.com/tv/pokémon-bulbasaur-and-the-hidden-village/EP002779270060?aid=dish

That's an original episode of Pokemon shown to be airing in place of the current B&W series. I'm not sure if that's a goof or not, but I guess we'll see
No offense, but this could be added in the Cartoon Network Schedule thread, over here! Unlike those miserable meeces, you don't have to dissect Toonzone to find the right place to post!

GOOOOD!I actually want cartoon planet to leave,something I never thought I would say.

Cartoon Planet will still be back on December 16th, at the time before Christmas comes near.. But on some cheerful news.. Finally, they are going to be airing some "specials" into the block that will mark the first time that they air "22 min episodes" on the block (this was considered back when the revival of the block started when it was supposed to air 'The Rowdyruff Boys", then Foster's episodes).

Though, some may or may not be dissapointed that yet another "new" show will join on the line-up, this time being "The Garfield Show". To me, this is actually a better choice.. Plus, this will mark the first ever show on the block that's a "CGI animated series" (not counting MAD). It's unknown if this replaced another show at the moment (So far, it seems likely that Annoying Orange is removed from the block).

Hopefully, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, Ed, Edd n Eddy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends will soon return to gain back upon it's classic programming for the Cartoon Planet block, and finally give out something people want to see again. Plus, 6 minute episodes from others!

December 16th:

* The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack - "Low Tidings"
* Courage the Cowardly Dog - "Nutcracker"
* "The Garfield Show" - "Caroling Capers"

December 17th:

* Camp Lazlo - "Camp Lazlo's Kamp Kringle"
* Johnny Bravo - "A Johnny Bravo Christmas" (the closest for this show to air later)

December 18th:

* Codename: Kids Next Door - "Operation: S.N.O.W.I.N.G."
* Johnny Test- "A Holly Johnny Christmas"
* MAD - "DaGrinchy Code/Duck"

December 19th:

* Chowder - "Hey, Hey It's Knishmas!"
* The Amazing World of Gumball - "Christmas"
* The Garfield Show - "Turkey Trouble"

December 20th:

* Courage the Cowardly Dog - "The Snowman Cometh"
* The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy - "Billy & Mandy Save Christmas"

December 22nd:

* Courage the Cowardly Dog - "Nutcracker"
* The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy - "Billy & Mandy Save Christmas"

December 23rd:

* Codename: Kids Next Door: Operation: N.A.U.G.H.T.Y.

Eh,I don't mind The Garfield Show coming to Cartoon Planet.1st,it's actually not new,it started in 2008 in France,2009 in America. Fits the rules for the block.

It's great that they are listening to us with there 22m episodes.This brings possibilities of Sheep In The Big City coming to CP! Now they could air fosters in 22m format!DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I'VE SEEN "Bloo's Brothers"?!:zim::gir:

But it's not a CN original.

But it's not a CN original.
Oh Yeah.I meant "timewise" meaning it was made in a year that's suitable for the block.Still,it's better than MAD,Orange and Gumball airing on the block.

More updates upon their Christmas Cartoon Planet weekly line-up! And there some surprises to this one that are updated..

"Ed, Edd N Eddy" makes a return with the "Fa, La, La, La, Ed episode.. it's unsure if it will also air it's main Christmas special as of yet.
"Operation: N.A.U.G.H.T.Y. & "Billy & Mandy Save Christmas" are also part of the block's week of Christmas as we know"
"Most of them are gonna have Courage the Cowardly (as the usual), however.. they'll be airing the "Snowman" episodes aside just The Nutcracker!

will atlest it fits on the block

To be honest, I never found seeing non-originals on a Cartoon Planet block a bad thing in terms of itself. Sure, it may break some boundaries into the block, but it would lead into having more shows and gaining upon a strong diversity into the block. Now that there's a possible chance to see more than just 11 min episodes of shows; but now with 22 min episodes (or it's specials), and hopefully they could return 6 min ones as well. Plus, if they we're to expand the programming into the block, that means it would have a strong variety into the weekdays. They just needs to have shows that are consider as the "Best" for it (since it was to be called, The Best of CN back when it was new). In terms, something like this!

* Dexter's Laboratory
- Dial M for Monkey
* The Powerpuff Girls
* Ed, Edd n Eddy
* Courage the Cowardly Dog
* Johnny Bravo
* Cow & Chicken
- I Am Weasel
* The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
- Evil Con Carne
* Mike, Lu & Og
* Time Squad
* Codename: Kids Next Door
* Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (now with them airing Christmas specials, i'm hoping NOW they'll air it's 22 min episodes)
* Camp Lazlo
* My Gym Partner's a Monkey
* Chowder
* The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
* MAD
* Pink Panther & Pals (it's old, and could give more aside just Cow & Chicken)
* The Garfield Show

Sorry for the bump, but today's PPG episode "Impeach Fuzz" aired with a foreign language track on top of the English track. Very strange.

What happened to My Gym Partner's a Monkey? I haven't even seen it in a while.

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
