Hmm, well. I was promised some form of Bob Barker Price is Right reruns and did not get it. Disappointing.

TPIR reruns may come to BUZZR in the future. TPIR reruns didn't come to GSN (Game Show Network) until late 1996 and lasted until Spring 2000.

Body Language and Child's Play? Odd choices as those are relatively obscure even among game show fans. I wonder which eras of Family Feud and Match Game they'll be airing.

In the case of Feud, that might be the early Richard Dawson era eps that GSN won't play anymore. Seeing as how the Steve Harvey version's rerun rights are split between GSN & TV Land (!), I can't see it coming to Buzzr.

Now, gimme some Concentration!

Note that the entire lineup is comprised of Goodson-Todman games. Hmmmmm.

GSN couldn't get Concentration back in the day due to the cross-ownership issues, how are we to expect a channel that's owned be Freemantle directly is supposed to cut through that tape?

Is BUZZR owned by Sony, because this could be their way of clearing house on GSN so it can have more recent programming?

No, BUZZR is a joint venture between Fremantle Media and the FOX owned and operated stations.

I also hope BUZZR in the future airs these game shows from the Fremantle library: Sale of the Century, Password Plus, 1960's Password, Scrabble, Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak, Split Second 1987, Scattergories, Beat the Clock, Now You See It, Trivia Trap, and the Alex Trebek (not Nickelodeon) Double Dare.

One other thing: If NBC wants to rerun Alex Trebek's 1987-1991 Classic Concentration on a cable channel, it could be the NBC owned COZI TV digital subchannel network, or maybe NBC/Universal/Comcast and Sony agree on a merger of the companies.

Insofar as I know, Buzzr ain't coming to upstate NY yet. Fox don't own any stations in my district. Buzzr does have a YouTube channel where they've revived some games, like Beat the Clock.

And now here are the Saturday and Sunday schedules for BUZZR:

I wonder if they'll cut the fee plugs like GSN does.

Here are the cities (mostly with FOX/My Network TV O&O stations) that have cleared the launch of BUZZR on Monday, June 1, 2015, with maybe more to come in the weeks and months ahead:
New York, NY
Chicago, IL
Los Angeles, CA
San Francisco, CA
Washington, D.C.
Phialdelphia, PA
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.
Detroit, MI
Orlando, FL
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
Houston, TX
Austin, TX
Atlanta, GA
Gainesville, FL
Charlotte, NC
Phoenix, AZ

The launch of BUZZR TV starts at 8 PM EDT today on June 1, 2015 starting with the 1 hour 1963 Let's Make a Deal pilot.

Hope that they can run GSN to the ground. And really think that GSN really change for the worst. Buzzr is not in my area at least not yet. But hope it will as I have Direct TV.

I wish this was coming to my area, as I could go for some game shows. But nooooo, all we get are B-movies and old TV shows that aren't even classics that everyone forgot existed.

They will soon strike deals with other broadcasting companies and extend the coverage.

I'm in one of the locations for this, but it has yet to appear. It was suppose to replace Bounce, but it's still going.

Perhaps they will move Bounce TV to a different subchannel?

And you know what's best about BUZZR? No credit crunches, no end of show fee plug omissions, and (of course) no Steve Harvey Family Feud!

Buzzr is in its 4th. week and most of the vintage game shows might have had limited episode weeks since most went back to the start of their Buzzr runs as of Monday-Tuesday June 22-23.
