OPENING: "Baton Road" by KANA-BOON
ENDING: "Dreamy Journey" by The Peggies

Last Time on BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS
The mysterious chakra that only Boruto can see extends its reach throughout the village; when Boruto experiences a jutsu-induced dream, he seeks advice from his grandfather, Hiashi Hyuga, believing the dream awakened his Byakugan.

Even though Naruto Shippuden ended in Japan and the Manga ended but the Anime is still going in English DUB. Please refrain from spoilers past Naruto Shippuden and Episode 9 on this talkback.

Hanabi so rarely ever gets to appear that this is borderline an event.

December 6 marks the 4th Anniversary of THE LAST: NARUTO THE MOVIE!

Previously on Bort: Bort gets more in touch with the Hyuga side of his family. AKA the good side of his family.

Why does he keep calling Hanabi his sister? She's his aunt. I mean, he knows how family relations work, right?

Bort, you ain't Kamina. Take off those glasses.

Wait he has to have the Byakugun. He’s half Hyuga what other occular jutsu could it be?

Who knows? This series is always coming up with new freaky random eye powers.

Series should just be called eye justu at this point.

Nice to see Naruto to have a moment with a father figure that is not dead.

Kagemasa's been doing some stress eating.

Just goes to show, never meet your heroes.

The lead actor's been under a lot of stress. You know how it is, so-called fans leaving nasty comments about the film and harassing cast members on social media, launching fake Kickstarter campaigns for a proposed remake, whining about how PC the franchise has apparently gotten...

"I'm fat, so all I think about is food!"

I think Kagemasa been hanging out with Cho Cho too much.

Just me or does this show like to fat shame a least a little.

I don't want spoilers, but I'm also curious when we'll find out what Boruto's eye jutsu is. But it feels like they might drag it out a bit longer. Probably gets revealed in next year's run of episodes.

I took that as a vanity thing or being polite and calling her 'big sister' instead of aunt. I think aunt in Japanese is obasan but it's also kind of more reserved for middle aged women so it'd be kinda disrespectful to call Hanabi "oba".

.

Don't wait up...the full details haven't even been revealed in Japan yet. No kidding. [/spoilers]

Where is the ninja optometrist? Couldn't Boruto just read a chart and get that analyzed? We get another possessed person of the week and it's fat Kagemasa (more fat jokes yay), The random people go possessed and act crazy arc is kind of wearing out its welcome with so little development, interest, or stakes.

... Well, it took how long for Naruto to learn who his dad was? But seriously, don't they have archival library about jutsus somewhere or did it get flattened when the village was destroyed?

The implication might be that this is based off an ancient jutsu that would predate any kind of archive system, but until we actually get our answers, hard to say. Heck, according to the Naruto wiki, the author himself hasn't decided on the final details yet (as per an interview).

Wow, so in theory, it could be the very first visual jutsu that all the others we know of originated from. Interesting.

As someone who's Portuguese, it just bugs me again that we lost. I wanted Portugal to win this time because this is Ronaldo's last, but no, we think Ronaldo has devolved significantly, and we lost against Spain.
