Can We Bring Back The Toonami Forums?

Well, these posts belong here. Toonami was a part of Adult Swim.

Re-opening the Toonami forum, while not my call, would be a bit pre-mature at this juncture.

If Toonami comes back for keeps, sure.

As of now, though, this was just a one-time deal, so there's really no point. Discussion will die down eventually, anyway, or it'll move to the Toonami thread in the CN forum.

That's precisely what I meant. Not immediately but when the time comes. Sorry about that, I should have been alittle more clear, I've been tired all day.:p

Pretty sure we actually do still have a Toonami forum, but it's just not accessible to any of the TZ members anymore. As people already said however, we don't really need one anymore unless Toonami comes back 100%.

If Toonami comes back full time we could keep posting on this board if it is part of Adult Swim or we could split the conversation to the Toonami board if traffic warrants it. Thus making the AS board more or less the AS Comedy board if Toonami takes over ASA.

It's nice to see more activity on this board IMO.

Yeah, make this the Adult Swim & Toonami board. There's not nearly enough activity to justify two separate boards. Plus, the schedules and ratings will probably treat them as the same network.

Exactly.

The old board can rest unless the Toonami revival warrants too much discussion for this board.

They probably wont bring it back with a ton of old shows at the same time and even if they did that wont be too much for one board with the small amount of discussion usually going on here.

Its a little too early to get the old gang back together again isn't it?

I really don't see the need for a forum based off of a programming block, especially one that will most likely only air once a week if it was to return. It's bad enough that Adult Swim has it's own forum, but since it's a block that runs every night than I guess I can see why, especially since people are under the illusion that AS is a "network" when it's really not. But that's a fool's fight anyhow, lol.

Life would be a lot easier if you just accepted the fact that Adult Swim is in fact a network. Goodness knows you have nothing to lose by accepting it.

Additionally, this forum exists as a forum for a website centered on Adult Swim, not for the network itself.

Or those who believe it is should just accept the fact that it isn't, afterall......"god known they have nothing to lose by accepting it".

It's a two way street, hence being a fool's fight.

Since Mike Lazzo did not lose his job to the ATHF bomb scare and Jim Samples did, CN still has to answer for Adult Swim and it is no more a different network than Nick at Nite. That's how I see it anyway.

This board is not swamped with activity so once again I suggest we keep Toonami discussion here while it airs on Adult Swim.

That site still exists? Goes to show how long Adult Swim's been going in completely the wrong direction. Hopefully this all signals a real turnaround.

New Toonzone Toonami Board? T

I would bring it back, when we get an official announcement from Williams Street. Right now, let's keep the current in-depth conversation here on the Adult Swim forum. :birdman: :brak: :meatwad: :shake: :frylock: :tom:

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
