I have noticed that during its existence, CN Japan aired a lot of classic cartoon shows from various American animated studios, anime (both old and new) and animated works from around the world. What do you think?
I had no reason to be jealous on anything dispite any situation...but this takes me over the leves of jealousy : ((( (still happy for them,a good example of how to manage correctly a channel)

Is there a good alternative to tvprofil.com for super long CN schedules that doesn't require me to use a VPN connection to Germany to overcome said website's rampant mass geoblocking?

I'd like something like epg.vimn.com, but for Warner Bros. Discovery's linear television channels.

Yes it definitely did. What didn't air however was Teen Titans season 5. Never understood that one.
And that season never aired in Portugal too

For the official PT-PT dub, "The End" is the end

Though Trouble in Tokyo received a dub, skipping all of season 5

Now that’s just weird.

That promo at the end of the second video never aired on CN EMEA. Music licensing to a wider stretch of land would be more expensive.

Cartoon Network Italy actually did air Teen Titans season 5, years after they finished airing season 4. They used the voice cast of the Italian dub of Teen Titans Go! to dub the final season, however.

Most EMEA-region Cartoon Network feeds that aired the 2003 series only aired the first four seasons, however. This includes the UK feed (or Toonami UK/CNX), the Nordic feed, the Poland/CEE feed, the France feed and the Spain feed.

By the way, does Warner Bros. Discovery even own the rights to the European Portuguese dub of the 2003 series? Just asking in case the show ever gets added to HBO Max in Europe in the future.

The dub never aired on any Warner owned channels in Portugal but they probably have it.

I don't know. I think they have access to the two dubs (S1 for RTP and S2-4 for Panda Biggs, RTP 2 aired S3-4 in 2014 but with translated episode titles), so I guess it's remotely plausible

This might be because it was originally intended to end after four seasons before suddenly gaining a fifth. Meanwhile, some international countries didn't even get the series dubbed at all like the Netherlands.

So most Europeans never got to find out about Terra still being alive. Shame.

This means the joke in Go! ("The Fourth Wall") about them being so upset over the ending doesn't make sense.

It's like kids discovering The Jetsons and other shows because of the TT GO! Intro episode.

It's hard to rerun the show in 2025 outside the USA, fortunate are the Americans to have MeTV Toons (which isn't a kids channel), we have nothing.

I mean, our Boomerang (US) does rerun old shows, including the Jetsons, but they do it mostly late at night because Scooby-Doo! is what gets the ratings.

Meanwhile, non-US feeds of both barely care about classics.

Sure, there's the CN Classics block, but it's not enough

Actually, the dub was always produced for RTP, S2-4 dubbing credits have "RTP-Produção" on it.

Ah, my mistake. On Panda Biggs they didn't appear, and bizarrely, season 2 never aired on RTP 2 (just season 1 and later seasons 3 and 4)

Yeah, I actually have memories of seeing season 4 on RTP2 from when I was young. Such a shame CN PT didn't air the dub and possibly dub the last season...
