Maybe not shows, but they did cut the prologue from the Zoroark movie, causing TPCi to send them an angry letter. (No joke.)

I don't got much,, but I be 12 it be 2009 and I be watching TDA episode 2 I think and then a commerical or ad for an MTV show pops up on CN, and it showed a boy skating naked on skateboard with his .... censored. Man I thought that was kinda weird lol.

I just remembered something, I remember CN once aired the Chowder episode "Majhongg Night/Stinky Love" with pop-up trivia facts in early 2012 (the last time Chowder aired regularly on CN).

OFF: As for competition weirdness, I was watching Sony Entertainment Television and the first advert in the commercial break was for Samsung.

Is it rated TV-PG?

I think it's usually rated TV-G on Boom. Besides, it popped up as the LT short was nearing its end, and a Mixels short (which IS TV-Y7) came on a short time afterwards, so I'm thinking they just jumped the guns a bit.

Another interesting thing I've noticed is that the CN Logo gag in the Chowder episode "Gazpacho Stands Up" (which aired on Boom USA the other day) still works as the Boomerang logo is where the CN bug was at the time...although you can still see the old CN bug behind it.

Here are some things I've been seeing:

*They have been airing some shows in widescreen (or faux widescreen) that are usually aired in full screen, this wouldn't be weird, except for the fact that Boom is not an HD channel. They aired a Powerpuff Girls episode this week in letterboxed stretch-o-vision, they also aired the second episode of Chowder (which is normally pan-and-scanned) in widescreen, however Froggy Apple Crumple Thumpkin wasn't made in HD (some scenes were butchered in stretch-o-vision while everything else was cropped). They also aired Camp Lazlo in widescreen yesterday as well.

*When they still showed Pixie and Dixie, I remember one of the weekend airings during the third cartoon the Boomerang bug didn't appear at all. Instead, the TV-G icon stayed the entire time.

*A lot of times before they show a Mixels short, during the last few seconds of a show (usually the ones played overnight or early in the morning) the TV-Y7-FV icon appears for one second but then disappears and comes back once the Mixels short starts.

*Recently, a Jetsons promo that hasn't aired since I think 2013 aired, but after that I never saw it again.

I wish everybody would stop blaming everything that goes on Boomerang at the upcoming rebrand. I get that the rebrand will bring big changes, but right now until the rebrand, Boomerang is still CN's dumping ground for reruns of shows they don't care about anymore.
