I can't remember.
MTV's newest attempt to pretend that they actually give a crap about animation premieres tonight at 10:30pm.

The premise: 16-year-old clones of famous historical figures go to high school. Sorry it's not showier, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

Personally, judging from the ads and what I read about the characters at MTV.com, the show has the potential to be really funny or really stupid. If you thought the show was good, bad or if you thought anything about it at all, go ahead and post.

Living in Canada, I got to see the first seven or eight episodes so far (with new episodes being aired weekly) and I must say the show is hilarious. The pilot is probably the weakest of the series, but as the episodes air, the show gets better and better. Full of great jokes, great characters, and hilariously miscast (or cast perfectly, like Jack Black as 'The Pusher') or useless guest-stars (which actually works), this is a show I really enjoy. Co-produced for MTV and Teletoon, it's a great way to kill thirty minutes.

And the robot butler...he'll be the breakout star! Gaurenteed!

Watch the show - you won't regret it! Plus is has a great theme by Abandoned Pools and Hilarious "Previously/Next Time on..." segments, as well.

I was already excited about the show before because it's a great idea with tons of potential but now I'm gonna pee myself in anticipation. (Not Really)

After seeing the commercial with the clone of JFK, I have to make time to watch this. Looks so funy. :D

I'm with ya, there. The commercial MTV runs the most is absolutely terrible, but that JFK one actaully made me want to watch the show. It looks like it has a lot of potential, and I hope (if it turns out to be good) MTV will treat it better than they do most of their animated shows.

Maybe it's out of place here, but what's this have to do with music? Honestly that station should change its name already. :p I don't think I'll be watching this.

It's a good thing I caught this thread, I never even knew about this. I'll watch it.

Oh, they've been PCTV (pop culture TV) for years now. Maybe they haven't officially changed their name yet, but music videos are little more than 3 am filler now.

this show looks like total crap. so it will obviously be around longer then any good show mtv produces (damn, i'm haveing a hard time thinking of a good show that mtv made [jackass doesn't count becasue tehy were so strict about it that bam and johnny just couldn't take it anymore. also, bran just flat out didn't want to deal with mtv's crap so he didn't bother with many skits and was sparse in the movie])

It's produced by Nelvana. They are geniuses. They gave us Sam and Max, Ned's Newt, Eek the Cat, and many other fantastic shows.

YOU WILL WATCH THIS SHOW.

Or I will be sad.

They also gave us "Cardcaptors" :p

Well, the pilot certainly wasn't much, but I'm willing to give it a bit more of a chance.

I'm disapointed in most of the characters. I think Lincoln and Gandhi are good, but that's about it. Joan of Ark is out of place, and the look really doesn't make sense. JFK doesn't fit either, since everyone else is fundamentally different from their historical conterparts, and yet he is (caricaristically) identical. Cleopatra is okay as the school babe, but her personality is basically non-existant; she could have been a lot better.

I think a lot more could have been done (and perhaps will be) with this premise. They could have made Ghangis Khan more than a total idiot. I think it would have been a lot funnier if they made him the school bully, and put him in a football uniform, or something like that. There's also a ton of other funny possibilities with historical figures, but I'll wait to see if they appear in later episodes.

Anyway, the first episode was pretty bad, but showed enough promise to warrant another chance.

Blah, how did they clone such boring characters?

It would have been more interesting if they clone more infamous people in history like Hilter, Stalin or Vlad the Impaler.

I knew absolutely nothing of this show or it's existance, and I caught it by accident while channel surfing last night. I thought it was abit cliche...then about two minutes into it, I realized that was Ghandi...and Abe Lincoln...and I assume that was Joan of Arc? Anyway...after that, I thought it was a little funny. Still cliche, and full of more and MORE teen crap which has plagued our TV sets, and is rotting America's poor, already uselessly stupid minds...but...not bad.

I like it.

Clone High-er Education

While the pilot episode was lacking, it seems to me this series is actually good and for once MTV did something right. Now if they can just play old music videos...

Pretty so-so pilot episode, but there's definatly a lot of potential in this series. Abe and JFK are pretty good characters and I liked the clone Ghandi talking about how he acts the way he does out of fear from not living up to the original. Will be tuning in for awhile to see how this show turns out and hope to see future episodes build more from the pilot.

wow, that really really sucked. sorry, there wasn't even half a second of humor in it. and once again, it makes now since that this is on mtv. i guess no other network wanted a crappy show, so ofcourse mtv had to jump on it.

I actually liked it and I see where this show can grow into an even more greater show. Abe and Ghandi do see to be good main characters and Joan of Arc is ok as well. I liked the mad doctor and his robot. "Wesley" :D So, I will watch the other episodes too.
