I don't know if anybody around here already knows about this, but I found a website devoted to the great voice artist Daws Butler. It was put together by an apprentice of Butler's; it contains written interviews, photos of Butler as well as Stan Freberg and Don Messick.

Also, you can listen to various samples of his work. Probably the crown jewel of this website is Butler's 6-minute audio demo tape, where he does a whole variety of voices and accents! Listening to it, one can quickly understand why Mel Blanc refered to Daws Butler as his "only rival"!

The address is: http://www.comedyorama.com/daws/daws.htm

That website is run by Joe Bevilacqua, who is as knowledgeable about Daws Butler as anyone. I highly recommend it as well.

Yeah. I was looking at that site this morning. It seems like he was very talented.

Has anyone here ever taken a tour of the Cartoon Network Studios building in Burbank, CA before it closed? I really wish I could have :(
To celebrate the fact that I got three weeks off from work for rest, I watched today the latest installment in the separate Minions series of movies. What I loved was the unique logo variation of the Universal logo, which was akin to the plot taking place in the late 1800s

Not everything from DC and Marvel comics needs to be more like the adaptations.
