Ehhh, not too keen on the JUSTICE LEAGUE one, as usual, but OOOOOOOOO, that BATMAN ADVENTURES cover rocks. Maybe it's just my fascination with those Easter Island head statues...those things have always creeped me out.

I just want to know why it is that I can't find a picture of the cover to Batman Adventures #2? I've looked in several places, and nothing. Little help?
Anyway, as for July's comics, I have to say that JL Adventures sounds more interesting than Batman Adventures to me. Then again, that might be because the description for BA is not all that..descriptive. However, I do like the cover. JL's cover, on the other hand, is a little bizarre, what with the disembodied head of GL, a la Walt Disney. Half-ant Diana, I can buy though. *shrug*

Maybe it's just me, but but Batman's colors look infinitely better on this cover than they do on Justice League. For a second, I thought it was the B:TAS design on the cover, leading me to think it was a story that took place in the past.

I'm not really looking forward to JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURES #21, primarily because these kinds of stories have been told way too often in the past, and cliched plotlines do not interest me. On the other hand, I'm probably going to end up picking up BATMAN ADVENTURES #4. The cover rocks (the statue looks creepy and somewhat pacifying at the same time), despite the vague description I tend to love Ra's Al Ghul stories, and my two favorite ADVENTURES writers are at the helm! I am definately going to be getting this issue... you should too!

I just want to know why it is that I can't find a picture of the cover to Batman Adventures #2? I've looked in several places, and nothing. Little help?

Probably cause there isn't one. It comes out in May (same month as #1) and there STILL isn't a cover. I don't know whats up with it...Maybe it's some super secret thing, and even when the issue hits the newstands, it'll just be a blank image...hmmm...

Batman Adventures #2 also isn't listed on the DC Comics website, yet. I have contacted DC about providing an image but have got no reply back, so far. Hopefully it will be coming online within the next few weeks, as it's release date gets closer.

As for the July comics, both issues look very interesting to me! Batman Adventures #4 looks like it'll be a great tale! I'm always glad to see more Ra's Al Ghul! As for Justice League Adventures #21, it's written by John Ostrander! This man provided some of the best Batman stories in the 1980's and 1990's! And art by Min S. Ku? I'm there! I'm totally there!

Batman Adventures is on my pull list by default. Easter Island is just a bonus, in my eyes.

JLAdv may sound cliched, but it's written by John Ostrander of Suicide Squad and Hawkworld fame (among other things), so it's probably getting pulled in July, too.

Sorry Bird Boy, don't see the 2nd issue cover at all.

Ohhh.. that fourth issue of BA looks pretty good. When I saw that fourth issue cover, it did not look like Timm's art in that distance to me, even when I clicked a close up to it. I had to find out in the cover artist if it was his artwork. I'm not saying that cover is bad, it looks fantastic!!
I'm just saying that I had no cule if that was Timm's reconizeable work.

The disembodied head gimmick came back into vogue thanks to Matt Groening's Futurama. Don't know when Disney employed this gimmick. Wonder Woman turned into a 1/2-woman, 1/2-ant?!? Hmmmmmmm. That would be interesting by itself, I'll grant.

Both of the titles look great! Batman Adventures looks especially inviting with the return of Ra's. I'm very interested to see what Templeton can come up with that character.
