Describe your voice

I have a deep voice(a natural baritone about) and sometimes sound like I went to the Benicio Del Toro School for public speaking. People tend not to fully hear what I say so I often have to repeat myself, which becomes incredibly frustrating after a while. I'm more clear when reading aloud or giving a speech.

I'm pretty good at impersonating the Beatles. A lot of people think that they all speak the same, but they all sound very different.

When I talk my voice sounds...like an Alto, but when I hear a recording of it, I sound like a Soprano. My friends say my voice is rather low, but not too low for a girl. People say I sound like my sister (whose voice sounds like what I hear in my head when I talk) so I guess my voice is lower than it sounds on the recording.

Accents: Just a standard norhtern-Ohio "accent" here. Although, after spending a day or two down south, I pick up the southern accent rather well...takes awhile to get back to normal. (Oh, and there is a difference between a northern-Ohio accent and a southern-Ohio accent. Believe me.)

I don't do impressions, but when I sing (or rather, when I used to sing) I can get to the high Soprano notes and I can hit a few of the Baritone notes. My choir teacher said I had about a 5-octave range.

Deepish. I have no trouble hitting high notes, though. Imitations include Jimmy Stewart (or Edward G. Robinson, depending on who is listening), Ross Perot, Howard Keel, and Sly Stallone. I do better imitations of friends and family than I do of celebs.

In short, a rather nondescript voice. I've been told I have a nice laugh, though.

I speak English with terrible (to some people) American accent. I don't sound like any celebrity, but I can successfully impersonate Louie ("Life With Louie"), Korgan Bloodaxe ("Baldur's Gate 2") and Minsc ("Baldur's Gate 2"). If I tried a while, I could also impersonate Joe Pesci (I think).
My voice is normal, but sometimes it can sound like two stone plates grinding against each other (which is great for voicing bad guys of all sorts).
The accent question:
-Scottish. I can do a great angry Scot.
-Russian. I'm Polish, I was learning Russian for six years, I can do better Russian accent than any of those Americans from TV.
-Japanese. After watching some anime with original voices I figured out quite good Japanese accent.
-Gangsta. Big bad homie from da Compton ghetto.
-Redneck. Really screechy. Quote:
I: "O' Ah can be a hick from Alabama!"
My friend: "It only lacked spitting on the floor."
-Death Metal Dude. Growling from the depths of hell - great for voicing bastards from the depths of hell. The best "hell bastard" quote I did was "Taste my socks, you insolent cur!".

For a while I thought my voice sounded like any female teenagers with a little bit of grainy sounds to it. That is until I heard myself after taping my visit to Disney World last year.
I sound like a young boy that has almost a deep voice It's crazy. But I can't complain too much since one of my best friends sounds more like a boy than me especially when she is sick

I don't really know what to call my voice. I absolutely HATE it but people tell me there is nothing wrong with it Personally I think I sound like some kind of malfunctioning radio.

Apparently I have some kind of distinct accent, though, because when my family and I went on vacation in Florida once, this lady recognized us as living in Michigan because of the way we talked.

(EDIT actually now that I think about it it kind of does at first I was thinking of something like the Police Academy guy)
My voice is very shaky and soft I hate to answer the phone because I always get (even from people who know me) Who is this I think I got the wrong number? or little boy or sometimes even....little girl.

I always thought I had a normal pitched voice, but when I hear myself on a recording it sounds higher.

I suck at accents unless I hear one right before I do it, then I get it easily. I always forget what certain accents sound like. It's the same with impressions, too. I can usually copy other people's voices almost exactly right after I hear them speak, but I usually screw up when I do it by memory.

Meh, my voice is kind of middle I guess, being closer to the lower end of middle. Which I hate since I'm a guy. I'm actually pretty self conscious about my voice since I've always been of the opinion it's too high. (my mom says it's not but who believes their mom in situations like that?) As for mannerisms, I tend to talk loud and fast, especially when I start carrying on or telling a joke which I do frequently. As for impressions I'm really bad at impressions. My sister is great though. (She can imitate Dana Carvey imitating George Bush so good it's not even funny) Recordings of my voice disturb me though...if I really sound like that, I may have to stop talking.

I never thought it was possible but my voice went downhill after I got a majorly nasty cold/fever thing a while back. I could do some impressions here and there with a fem twist. Now I can't. My voice is deep, but not manly so, with a lisp. And I talk monotone-ish. I have loads of variety to my voice when I'm actually cheery but people tell me I sound fake. I dunno.

Mine's sort of deep and really powerful. Think Kevin Conroy but not quite as deep and that's my voice.

Interesting thought. I think that the voice is something we all recognize, but don't always take time to look closer at. Everyone has a different tone and pitch, and more often than not we are self-conscious of what are vocal chords are (desiring a change, I hear from others so often I've lost count LOL). I would describe my voice as somewhere in the middle .... not too deep but not too high either. Probably average. I love music and enjoy singing (I even took voice lessons for a year, but had to stop due to finances). I enjoy manipulating my voice as much as possible between HIGH and LOW extremes. I do some impersonations, such as: old-time actors Sterling Hayden, Jack Palance and Clint Eastwood. I'd like to work on my impersonation skills, I'll say that much. I give people who do different voices all the credit in the world (it's not easy).

My voice at it's current state is neutral. Not too deep but not high either and very monotone a lot of times.
