Disney XD News & Discussion Thread

I'm more surprised about Billy Dilley. That only lasted one season and doesn't appear to have regularly aired since 2018. I'm aware of the baggage around Fish Hooks, but it's still on Disney+, so it doesn't seem Disney has enough issue with it to keep it from airing/streaming.

Yeah, Fish Hooks never had a minor redub like what happened with Justin Roiland (Oscar) on Gravity Falls as of late.

It seems like Disney is going for the CN angle of treating their 2010s lineup the same as current programming and their 2000s stuff is that extra cherry on top that sometimes airs on weekends or weekdays at 2am.

(Well unless you're Lilo and Stitch: The Series and manage to air mid day on the main channel)

I'm glad Go-Rush!! is back with new episodes!

Seeing these overnight changes reminds me of what I kept dreaming of in the mid-2010s with DC PT if they could replace the EU content quotas with reruns of ended US shows overnight. That would make the overnight schedule less boring.

Suprising but welcoming that Penn Zero's getting a 13 hour marathon instead of airing at 2am/3am like their other older shows.

No news about the dub of Go Rush?! Why?
Honestly reruns simply do better at this point. Infamously an anime premiere did 1k viewers and then a rerun on the next day did 10k.

And the weekday rerun strip did even better with one doing 30k.

I think that Pokémon might be coming back to Disney XD. I’m really happy that they are getting it back, since they are one of the TV channels on cable that still show anime, other than Toonami

Is that Joan Cusack voicing Jessie in that Toy Story Papa John's commercial? If so, it sounds rough. Woundn't surprise me if it wasn't, though.
