Does anyone remember this Superman cartoon?

It was a Superman cartoon that didn't last long.

All I remember is that every episode ended with a quickie of Clark as a kid. There was one quickie where he used his x-ray vision to peek at his birthday presents, and another quickie where his baby sitter sent him to bed but he flew past her when she wasn't looking and swiped the TV and brought it to his room.

Please tell me someone remembers this cartoon. I don't even remember what year it was, but I guess it was early '90s.

yes, it was the ruby-spears created series. I taped most of the episodes including the team-up with wonder woman. I wish the series and the 1960's series would be released on DVD. the video tape I have is a copy of the original along with a copy of the 60's show and the quality is kind of poor. when I taped the original, it was on ABC and I had rabbit ears, no cable. the show followed closely the superman movies and current comic superman of the 1980's. I enjoyed the series and wish it had had more seasons,but we have the better bruce timm series and of course, justice league superman.

I use to watch this cartoon when I was a little kid, and it was from 1988. The episode that guest starred Wonder Woman was cool, the same chick that voiced her on "The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians," (B.J. Ward) also voiced her on this episode.

Yeah, I remember Wonder Woman appeared for one episode. I don't even remember what happened there but it was cool to see her.

Well, the episode was titled "Superman and Wonder Woman vs. The Sorceress of Time" if that helps. Doesn't really leave much to the imagination, really.

JusticeLeagueLegion was right that B.J. Ward provided the voice for WW. Also, Mary McDonald-Lewis played the sorceress, Sirene. So it was a real G.I. Joe reunion (Ward was the voice talent for Scarlett and MML was Lady Jaye).

I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the opening title intro to that series. Looking back, it's a real tribute to the various incarnations of Superman that preceeded it. It featured a version of John Williams' score from the motion pictures and used the voice over guy from Superfriends reciting the classic "Faster than a speeding bullet..." copy of the 1950's TV show.

Yeah. I remember this, but rather vaguely. It originally aired on CBS for just one season. Certainly not as good as the Superman series on the WB, but enjoyable. I do remember the episode in which Wonder Woman guest starred and it was cool seeing her fly without aid of an Invisible Jet. I was hoping Batman would make an appearance, but that never happened. I also remember the shorts that focused on Clark's early days. With each episode, time had progressed from when he was a toddler, to a boy, to his teen years, and the final short when he left Smallville, moved to Metropolis and officially became Superman. These were just filler shorts that came on at the end of each episode. Overall, it was OK, but not as great as WB's series.

I also remember this cartoon, and the episode in question...or at least, a little bit.

There was one scene, towards the beginning of the episode, where Superman was talking with Lois Lane when the silhouette of a woman landed on the balcony of what I guess was Lois' apartment. Superman noticed that it was Wonder Woman and was surprised to see her. Lois, on the other hand, didn't look too happy. I wonder why?

CBR has the intro to the show (1987 Animated Theme), which does use a slightly altered version of Williams' Main Title from Superman:The Movie. I recommend the 60 second version, since it has the full intro to the toon.
